overgrown suuucks. its a camp fest/ chaos/shotgun camper party. storm is bad the apartment map is fun idk about this map. i wanna play some stimulus search only.
if MW2 was actually fun to play anymore i would buy it. but 1200 can go towards battleblock theatre when it releases

These maps would be fun to play if that local search update or whatever it was actually works. I have nothing except my Xbox connected to the internet and I always get host yet I'm still getting connected to people that live in Saudi Arabia and ****. Also, every time I play Favela, Karachi, or any map with any abundance of close quarters, I only see people run around with the UMP and Shotguns. Jesus, Infinity Ward. So you fix OMA which wasn't even that big of an issue but you completely neglect how overpowered the UMP is and the fact that a Shotgun secondary only promotes camping on 3/4 of all your maps? Just because Kotick isn't giving you your money doesn't mean you have to not give a **** about your game anymore.
Storm- alright i played two games on it and its the most confusing of the new maps. bailout- favorite out of the new maps. Has a lot of versatility between long/short range combat and vertical to low elevation. Salvage- Worst of all of them mostly because its such a small map for a big playlist. The map is very CQ though. Crash and Overgrown are upgraded details and stuff and gameplay plays pretty much as expected. Same campers in the same areas. Except the guns from Mw2 are added to the equation so it is much harder to flush someone out of said camping spot.
I REALLY like storm, it's really fun, not too campy, silenced assault rifles dominate it pretty well. Not really worth trying to snipe in, but it's good fun overall, very medium range, a little complex. Salvage is fantastic, But I've only played it split screen. There don't seem to be many caaping places to abuse, and noob tubing doesn't look like it would work at all. Considering My favourite aspect of the game is submachine guns, it's perfect for me, I'm just wary of shotgunners... :/ Bailout is okay. Only played that split-screen, but it seems like one hell of a campers map. It's not bad in design particularly, it just conflicts with my playstyle (Aggressive, fast paced, fun action. If I'm not firing, I'm either reloading or sprinting to find and kill the next person). Crash is an old favourite, but demolition and capture the flag seem to suck on it. It was fine on COD4, but the new things MW2 have introduced seem to diminish most of the fun on objective-style gameplay, as everyone takes it too slowly, and spend most of the time aiming down their sights and waiting. I expect it to be good fun in headquarters. Overgrown is something I didn't love in COD4, but it seems to be a lot more fun for stealthy gameplay and objectives now. Seems like thermal would work pretty damn well on it, and people naturally will camp on this map, but I'm familiar with the places they would, and I really enjoy playing on it. Overall, IMO: Storm = 8-9/ 10 Salvage = 9-10 / 10 Bailout = 7 / 10 Crash = 8/10 Overgrown = 8/10 Surprisingly good map-pack, didn't expect it from these developers. I think 1200 MSP is just about justifiable. My leftover MSP is going into the new Mass Effect 2 DLC as well, so I have something I plan to spend them on as well. How does everyone else feel about the maps? And how much is everyone gonna complain about me not liking bailout very much?

Agreed. Skidrow is a beast map, if only more maps were like it. As for the map pack, Salvage is a great map. I haven't yet found a camper on it . Bailout is great too, the apartments are great for CQC, and the outside between each building is great for everything else. I'm yet to play on storm, but from first looks it seems to be a little like downpour, no? Crash and Overgrown, two of my favourites from CoD4. They play OK, but it isn't the same as CoD4 and just not as enjoyable. Good thing is though, loads of peeps don't know the map and get pwned .
I've only played each of the new maps once because my neighbour bought them and I was at his house yesterday, but Bailout seems like the only balanced one to me. Killstreaks aren't incredibly overpowered because of the apartment buildings (just like Skidrow) but they can do their job nicely. It basically comes down to if there's killstreaks outside, stay inside and staying inside isn't a problem on this map (unlike ****ing Wasteland.)
i like all the maps. bailout is smexy. super balanced. amazing for all guns. I <3 crash, i own that ****. just running around with a famas, i got my harrier in a minute.
I think the maps are sexy. I didn't play to well on them, and found them kinda annoying. but I'm sure once I become comfortable with the maps and establish routes I'll come to love them.
I love Salvage and Bailout. I've only played Storm once, that map's pretty good, but the team I played against were really good and my team sucked balls, so my game lasted about three minutes. When I played crash there was heaps of camping, but I think I just joined a bad lobby. I didn't like Overgrown at all. Waaay too much camping on that map.
Storm, campfest. Haven't played it much, but it's my least favorite. Salvage, probably the best domination map I've ever played. Extremely balanced and fun. Only camping spots are A base, Sniper tower, and doghouse (lol). Bailout, balanced, fair, fun, and I rape in Demolition and Domination. All around amazing map. My favorite of the pack. Crash, I'm finding it really confusing and hard to get used to since I never played CoD4. Overgrown, same as Crash.
BAILOUT R TEH AWSUM SnD on Bailout is amazing, best thing ever. Crash and Salvage and Overgrown are good, but Storm is meh.
I had a godawful day of MW2 today. Couldnt get any good games at all. But besides that, I found that I like the new maps generally. Bailout is great, though Ive only played there 3 times, Salvage is great, Storm is good, and then Crash and Overgrown Im on the fence about. I never played COD4 so I don't know them well, and so far they seem riddled with too much camping spots and such. Idk... i have to keep playing I guess to get comfortable with them.
