Hello there Mr. Toppum! It’s been great getting some games on here. People really seem to like this (even when you’re not in the games, (which are awesome having you in lately, btw.)) And I know I’ve already told you this, but I just wanted to put it down in writing, I really like this map.

It’s immediately apparent that you spent an enormous amount of time making this. The structures all look amazing both in design and forging. I really do think this is as close as we could get to Headlong with Sandbox. Thank you for spending so much time making this for the community.

It’s also great that you’ve been spending some more time refining the spawning system. Play testing, watching films and making improvements are truly the signs of a great map maker. I thought last nights games did play a lot better.

I have an idea for some cover to the back of the defensive base that I wanted to get your thoughts about. Basically you might have noticed in the slightly tweeked older version that I was playing with my friends, I replaced one of the “back ledges” with two tube pieces, for added cover. In the original Headlong there was some cover back there in the form of some windows and a corner. Just kind of a small nitpicky change, that I think could make that part of the map a lot more useful for assaulting the base. But it’s like whatever, that map already plays good.

I see if I can catch you online sometime this week, and show you what I’m talking about. Or I guess I could just send you the map variant, although explaining would probably be a lot easier.

Once again it’s been great having you in the games, and I look forward to playing this and many other amazing maps with you in the future.

Wow dude, seriously?! You understood exactly what I was talking about with the "back ledges to tube pieces," and then made it EVEN BETTER! This is awesome, I'm looking forward to playing this new version for a long time to come.

Nice work man, I'm seriously impressed.

Why thank you. Ya when I saw that one version you did for that gametype, and the changes you did, there somethings I really liked. For example the placement of the warthog for blue base and the cover for the catwalk to the left of red base. So, naturally I added them. Only after you brought it up multiple times. ; ) ...... Anyways, Thanks a lot for helping with testing and stuffs.

Sorry this has taken so long.

From the start to the end, I've been kind of half-following this project for a period that seems like almost a year..I remember when Toppum showed me the first base and was talking about how he was going to make a Headlong inspired map.

I really think he's finally done a good job in work on his gameplay. As always, aesthetics are among the best you can get in the business (hey, it's Toppum...anything else would be disappointing :D), but I think this time around he's really started to get the hang of good gameplay. Spawns are generally good and flow feels pretty good, albeit with a couple fewer path options than I'd like.

One Flag BRs is the best gametype on this, in my opinion. There's some great possibilities, and in order to win you must use teamwork. That's always awesome in my book. Weapons are varied and lots of fun to use, including some fun stuff like the Wraith.

All in all, Skyline is a great map for large parties (6v6 and higher). Download it!

FINE-A-LY I have been waiting and waiting, and still more waiting for someone to make a really successful BTB map on the ground level of Sandbox. The thing you did that NO ONE has been able to accomplish is the successful use of the dunes. You're map merges beautifully with the dunes and even creates points of interest.

I am extremely impressed and keep up the good work.

Wow this could be a tight zombies map. It would be perfect with all of the bases you have made. Definite download for me. 5/5

Finally got a chance to download this sucker. Absolutely fantastic map. I wish I could get enough people to play on it. Headlong is so much fun, and this map certainly does not disappoint. The spawns are perfectly awesome, and the vehicles seem perfectly balanced. You don't see many maps with Wraiths on them! :)

Fantastic map, good sir. I tip my hat off to you!

This map looks badass. I never played Halo 2, but from what oters have said its a good resemblance. But thats not what strikes me when I look at this map. I see all these buildings and objects all built with meticulous detail, and I am stunned. And of course, I could seehow it would play well too. I just love the looks of those bases and the feeling of immense size they evoke becuz they're built with walls vertically rather than horizontally.
