Macabre is a large map based on the center area of Sandbox. The main landmark you will find on this map is the large bridge built through the very middle of it. This bridge is where almost 100% of the gameplay is based around, so get to know it pretty well. Macabre functions fine with every single game type from capture the flag to infection. But if you want to get the most out of Macabre, I highly suggest you use a team king of the hill variant and set up four different teams in the game lobby. I forged this about four months ago, and just now decided on what it would function with. Ranging from parties of 8 to even 16, I'm sure Macabre will please those in your party who are both extremely competetive, or just want to go play fat kid. I highly suggest that you play Macabre with four even teams with team king of the hill set up, but that's just my style. Macabre has been set up by me to function with every game type, but king of the hill is its sweet spot. As much as I love Macabre, it saddens me to say that one of the sides of the bridge made of double walls is perfect, and the other has a lot of slanted double walls. This came from the fact that Bungie isn't perfect, and out of this came a glitch where certain objects on Sandbox become slanted after you save changes. I cannot fix this broken side, I've tried five times already. Just deal with it... Lul.
This looks pretty cool. I'll need to try it out one day. What gametypes does this map play? I'm just curious. PS: was this the massive write up you stuffed up? lol
Multi team? meaning more than two teams? This map looks like it would be great for a team slayer or even a big team. I like how the center structure can easily be accessed from each teams's base, but you can also walk to it in the dunes.looks like a pretty above average piece of forging. 8/10?
It seems like it could use a few more ways to acess the bridge from the bottom like gravlifts or man cannons. Still a great map!!!
Another very nicely Forged map, Conker! Although I have yet to play this map, I can tell that the upper middle portion of the map will be overused because there isn't much else around the map. I'm not sure what you can do to counter this since you're at the object limit, but perhaps you can leave the middle part of the bridge, and delete the rest of the bridge that extends towards the Guardians. Using the objects that you delete you can build other structures that'll help improve this map's flow. This will, however, make the once bridge-like structure no longer a bridge.
Macabre plays with every single game type from Capture The Flag to Infection. The massive write up that got sploded was the write up for See you on the other side. Since then I've fixed all three threads, and am about to post them all onto Xforgery as well. These are all submissions for Xforgery's Multi-Team Madness thingy. Multi-Team meaning more than two teams, or two teams. I'd highly suggest four teams of 2-4 per team on team king of the hill. Team king is the best game type for Macabre. Thanks for the rating despite the fact that you haven't played it yet by the way. Lol Umm... Alright, no thanks. Play Macabre first, then suggest. I don't need suggestions based on what you see in the pictures. Hasn't anybody noticed how much more HD my pictures are!? It's so wonderful! Seeing as though I highly suggested team king with four teams of 2-4 to the last guy, I'd highly suggest this to you as well Silly Box Kitty... The middle area is the first thing everybody rushes to at the start of the game, and I've always seen this as a good thing, because it kind of reminds me of the overshield on Guardian. The map's flow is as good as it will ever get, and I'm quite pleased with the gameplay as far as Sandbox goes. Hopefully everything I hate about Sandbox will be fixed in whatever forge based map Bungie decides to make in Reach.
Conker. You showed this to me like last year lol but I love it! Toss me an inv sometome soon and well play. Im happy now
