    Kakariko Village

This might have been made before and it might not have, but I felt that it had to be made.

Please excuse the crudity of this model, I didn't have time to build it to scale or to paint it.

This is a remake of Kakariko Village from the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It comes complete with an incomplete house, water well and a giant windmill that spins...just kidding, it doesn't spin.
The map has been configured to play most gametypes. That, however, does not mean it will play well, as I put aesthetics first and gameplay second. I still encourage you to play. Just tell me how it is since I never have any friends online to play it and I don't have time to test it with the testers (plus I'm too lazy).
Oh yes, before you hardcore Zelda fans go crazy that the well is a little off and you can't go above the windmill, just know that I completed what I could with what I had in the given time I had (I would've gone crazy. I count myself as a diehard fan). Besides, it is a remake, not an emulation.
So here's to Shiggy and the team, for creating a great Adventure and, unwittingly, a Halo map.

Do you know how awesome this is? i mean, do you truly know how great it is? i love it. being a hardcore zelda fan, i really don't care if you can get above the windmill, as the rest of the map is spot on and beautifully forged. awesomesauce. fantastic.

p.s. what do you mean by paint it?

congrads on being the first person to successfully (in my mind) to build a urban environment. Others have tried, but failed. Seriously this just screams urban combat =P

edit: if you happen to make a newer model i would sure love to see it posted on FH

Sick! This map looks great! (Is there a graveyard in the back where I can play my ocarina and drop down a hole?) :D lmao! *ahem*

Yes, very aesthetically pleasing too, great work!
(And btw, I think doomsdale was joking about the paint, because everything is brown, whereas in zelda, it actually has coloured sidings/bricks etc.)

THat's pretty cool bro, I LOVE zelda... Downloading now. And not going to lie, it would be pretty damn cool if the graveyard was there where the crypt hole was. I don't expect it to be, but it'd be awesome.

I'm with Noxiw, I loved zelda and Ocarina of Time had to be the best Zelda game. I'm going to download and see how many memories this map brings back.

i have to say, i love this. this makes me regret selling my 64 sooooo much. one question plz, couldnt you have done this on a map with grass? im not complaining or anything, im just wondering, and you should TOTALLY make a second version with the graveyard. that would be MEGA sick.

I would have if I could, but there was simply not enough items to do this with. Also, I can't really make a map like this with grass. :p
