Wow is all I gotta say. That was amazing. Blasted him so far... thats just some good ol fashioned rocket race fun right there. Thanks, Im a pretty avid RR'er. Its probably my most played playlist, just cause i can play somethin like 8-10 matches an hour. That problem is in every RR map. Especially Standoff. I once got the first 8 destinations in like 48 seconds. Its a pretty unavoidable aspect of RR, because the sequences are random. I hear ya though, i wish there was something I could do about it. That would be epic. Not the 8 teams (that would suck), but the super long game would be awesome. Separate the real drivers from the pack. I'd like to do a 25 point game sometime thatd be alot of fun. What an honor that would be to actually have my map in the playlist. I've put the trick project on hold until I finish my Ghost Town project and get this idea i have for an Avalanche map out also. I'll probably still work on it from time to time. And I feel ya DTL I'm not a huge trick fan either, I'm glad they didn't make trick maps for the Heroic maps. But I do have some good ideas for this one.. just might take a little longer. In the meantime lets keep tearin this baby up. Oh and I'm officially in love with the Juicy Filter on Avalanche for Rocket Race... All the explosions and colors...awesome.
I'm not surpirsed that someone made a Rocket Race map for Avalanche. The only problem is getting to play it with enough people. Most of my firnds hate Rocket Race =(
the only problem with trick maps is that they aren't well made, what if they're made with lots of testing and you consistantly hit the landings when you go off the jumps and keep driving to the next vip point - would that change your mind? I'd like to do a trick map on avalanch myself but I'm just too damn busy with study to be able to do one that's up to my obsessive standards. Oh and by the way I wont DL this map because I'll never get to use it - matchmaking is so lame, so why is it so hard to get a custom?
lol thanks for not DLing my map? haha your loss bud, its a lot of fun. I play games on it at least every other day with full parties of 8... its never been a problem for me.
well OK I guess that sounded stupid, I was just making a comment that it's hard to get a custom rocket race game going, I need different people on my friendslist who actually like playing customs. Can I send you a FR? I've made some rocket race maps myself.
What map were you playing an 8 Team Rocket Race on?! Couple problems I see with an 8 Team RR is this.. Starting each team an equal distance from the first destination, Starting each team an equal distance from each-other ( Other wise you are just going to have a cluster f*ck) Benefits: You'd be able to play RR for longer because if you have 8 teams, unless 6 don't play it should be a very competitive race.
I'd just prefer the standard 4 teams, but one time epic battle to maybe 30 or so destinations. Thanks! I will eventually, but currently its on hold for another project.

yep, just good ol' rocket race. Yep, just good ol' Rocket Race. lol but yeh if you read the description Rocket Race wasn't set up on Avalanche. So I did just that, and tried to keep it with the spirit of the other Rocket Race Speed maps. After this next project i'll probably start working on an Avalanche Trick map.
