Of course its rumoured. But that doesn't make it any more or less likely.

I could say we'll only be allowed to play as Elites and only be allowed to use magnums in the Beta. Its just a rumour, it means squat.

Rumours are worse than speculation.

 

A singular rumour is mathmatically 1/2 (half) of a speculation.

Well, screw rumours and speculation. I HOPE theres forge in the beta.

 

I don't think there'd be a beta for Forge. You'll need to store maps that you download and make, and when the game comes out, what if the coding for maps were changed or something to that effect? I guess it's a possibility, but then we'd need a lot of time with the beta, like a couple months.

 

unless thats whats taking them so long, Because it seems to me, that they are already done with the multiplayer bit, or Its done to so much satisfaction that they can show it off.

 

I hope that they include forge.

 

All I want to know about Forge is if it is relatively unchanged from Halo 3's

But I DO NOT want it in the Beta, because if it is amazing it would kill us all to go back to Halo 3's inferior mode.

 

It would really suck if Forge was an option, but your maps wouldn't transfer to the game. Just like Bad Company stats wouldn't transfer...

 

Unfortunately, custom maps probably won't transfer since Bungie is using a new engine for Reach.

Don't want forge in the Beta. Basically what MetaWaddleDee said sums it up for me.

But, how many maps do you think there will be in the Beta? I'm thinking three, cos' in the MP trailer I saw three completely different styled maps.

 

Mb 4 remember power house, its an mp map but they didn't show it in the mp video.

I thought Power House was in it a lot.

I saw 3 maps.
Power House is set in (or around) an HEP dam, if you see water in the video then that is probably Power House.
The second map is for BTB which has all the vehicles, the one which is shown for "Invasion".
Then there's the one with all the walkways and corridors, the indoors map.

They all seem like fairly big maps.

 

Will Drones be in the game?

 

Nothing yet to indicate the presence of drones, though nothing to prove their absence either.

 

It'd be nice if Bungie added another new species other than the Skirmishers. I doubt they would, since most of the combat roles are already filled by already an already existing species. But still, variety's nice I guess...

 

I can't wait. 3 maps is pretty good for a beta.

 

Hopefully it's not the same as the halo 3 beta, ie everybody vetoing snowbound so all that got played was basically team slayer on vahalla or 1-bomb on highground.
