Modern Warfare 2 DLC is being released on March 30th

If its true then YES!!!!! cant wait!

 

Meh, I hate Modern Warfare 2, It is nothing but people constantly n00b tubing and taking advantage of every single glitch in the game. It almost makes me want to go back to War Rock.

I think all these problems have really ruined the game for me.
Definitely not worth the buy. Unless its like 100MP then its a MAYBE

 

Activision is just trying to compete with the release of Bad Company 2.

I don't know it's worth getting it though. BC2 is so fun, and MW2 is just so boring now.

 

Or you could wait until 4/1, the day DICE releases their new (and free) map pack for BC2. Also, many people have said that the screens for the 'remakes', which are probably just ports, look identical to the originals in COD4, both in design and graphics.

 

Cant wait for the new maps, although im not too into the game at the moment. I imagine all of these great new maps will just be ruined by noobs who use tubes and what not. Before releasing this DLC I would want them to fix all of these god damn glitches.

 

I'm passing on this one. 15$ for a map pack? I dont care how many maps are in a pack, I'm not spending that much. The only DLC I paid that much for is GTA4. I think it may be overpriced.

Cod4 Map pack - 4 maps, 1 remake but at least it looks like effort was put into it

WaW map packs - 3 maps + zombie maps 10$

MW2 pack - 3 new maps, 2 maps (if the screens are true) with no effort in at least redesigning them 15$

Activision is testing us with this price. If enough people buy, and most likely will, this map pack, they are going to charge 15$ or more after that. I'm not being cheap, anyone with a job can tell you 15$ isn't alot, but this is just to get us to pay more. Plus, they even said if they could, they would charge double THE GAME's price for the pack.

Anyone else think they could of added downpour on release? It's in spec ops with the AC130 mission. A little off topic I know.

 

From breaking out of the Spec Ops map Hidden, I know that "All Ghillied Up" is there in its entirety as well. Strange that they didn't do anything with it.

 

I've hated MW2 since the day I got it. The gameplay is worse than most, if not all of the other online shooters out there. There's about 3 guns in that game that actually take skill to use, and the rest are just overpowered guns, everyone one of them designed to give noobs an edge on skilled players, because that was the idea behind MW2. Noob-friendly. Everyone can have fun and all that assorted bull-****. Bad players shouldn't get rewarded for being terrible. The game should play the right way, with the good people on top, not the hackers and exploiters that take advantage of every god-damned aspect of the game. Well, another one of Infinity Ward's stupid ideas. And they wonder why their directors got fired.

Saw the price when I went on Kotaku. They think half the morons that play call of duty will buy this but I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they have some intelligence not to buy. Such a rip. I thought the halo map packs were stupid ;p

 

I MIGHT buy it, just to attempt to bring life into the game for me. Overgrown being brought back will heavily impact my decision(Border Patrol Bitches!)

 

The good thing about halo 3 map packs are that there is forge. Foundry and Sandbox alone brings out more than 10$ entertainment value.

Not sure if any of my friends will buy this either, they are casual player, and by casual, I mean like CAAAASSSSSUUUAAAALLLLLL.

 

I have a friend who will biy this, and I have 1200 ms points, and overgrown and crash are my two fsvorite leveld.
