I believe the guide might be on Mander A1's fileshare. Even if you do download it, it is not going to be a quick walkthrough. Consider getting some popcorn ready since the walthrough is over 20 minutes long. EDIT: I looked it up, and here is the link to the walkthrough: http://www.bungie.net/Online/Halo3UserContentDetails.aspx?h3fileid=96852582 Hope this helps you.
Wow, thanks for the link. Is it really over 20 minutes! That's rediculous. Does he screw up a lot or what? I guess I will need some popcorn, lol!
Yeah I believe he screws up a few times, but it is still pretty long without the screw ups, I'm guessing wihtout those few screw ups he woulda shaved off 3 minutes or so. So it's still quite a long map, it involves a lot of back-tracking which I love in puzzle maps. For exactly that same reason of making the puzzle maps longer.
Fairly decent play, although the aesthetics truly are meant to be appreciated. Maybe you could incorporate the hints into the pictures? It would be way easier than to go back and forth.
I am, unfortunately, having a problem that prevents this puzzle from being played through. Apparently, the thing you get in Challenge 8 to reach another tool doesn't spawn when I play. I went and downloaded the Walkthrough for this and noticed that it is indeed supposed to be sticking out of the wall. My problem is I went into camera mode in Theater for my play and the wall doesn't spawn for a little after the game starts. The "tool" is there hovering on the weapon holder, but when the block wall appears, the tool stays inside, rendering me unable to grab it and complete the course. Anyone else have this same issue? ....And yes, I did use the proper Gametype and Map provided in the download links on page 1.
It is working fine... part of the challenge is to get that thing out of the wall. Watch what he does carefully in the walkthrough... all the answers are there
Haha thanks for answering all of the questions guys. I haven't checked on here for awhile and assumed that this was ten pages deep. @Simonstwin, that's a great idea but unfortunately Forgehub only allows for 20 pics on a thread, so I wouldn't beable to get all the hints up. @OMGItzOrion, yeah I do make a couple of mistakes, but nothing too major. Creech is right on the mark when he says I couldn't have shaved much more than 3 minutes. I will be making a YouTube walkthrough very soon. @TAxxOUTBR3AKxx, well Aftershock basically explained it for you. The block is not supposed to spawn at the very start of the round, as that's what causes the pressure swith. Like Aftershock said, just watch the walkthrough a bit more carefully (and perhaps use free roam) and you'll see what to do. Thanks for all the positive comments guys, I really did my best to make this map satisfy the community and so far I'm very pleased with the results.
Wow, I can't even get through the starting room ... Can't figure out how to make the stupid turret operable ... Oh, I just didn't shoot enough, hehe.
Have you done a YouTube video for this yet? I keep getting stuck on the bubbleshield part and would love an online walkthrough. Great job on the map though! I'm a fan of all your maps, I guess they just suit my style, lol.
this is my first puzzle map i hav ever done and i cant get past the first room i hav no idea what to do with the turret nevermind i found out how to do it
Wow, you did a really good job on capturing a realistic tower and the forge is top notch. The first few challenges definitely sets the tone for this ruthless journey that's awaits you. With so many obstacles, in your path you will have to conserve your energy to make it out alive. I have got quite far in this, the hints are rather helpful.Im looking forward to your next challenges that await us in paradox origins! Great job on the map.
... Erm, it's supposed to be- Did you think that I'd build an entire map and not notice that there was something wrong with the first room? lol But yeah, that's one thing you won't have to worry about while playing this map, everything is always exactly as it should be- I playtested it many times to make sure it is. So next time you come across something that doesn't add up, try to figure out why it's like that, and a way to solve the problem at hand, rather than asuming that the map is just broken.
