Goodbye, Halo 2.

Oh man, I never got to play Halo 2. Sad face. I might get it just for the single player, if I can find it cheap.

 

Halo 2 is like ten bucks at Best Buy, yes i will miss it. Good memories of MLG Dallas and Charlotte, also team snipers on relic, team br's on tombstone =( i really loved that game.

Yeah, you're most certainly wrong. It's going on April 15th, like chrstphr said.

 

Halo 2 introduced me to The halo games. If I had never played halo 2 I think I wouldn't be playing any games at all or I would had been a PS3 gamer instead cause I had a PS2.

 

I never played Halo CE or Halo 2, until after I discovered Halo 3... perhaps H3 ruined the experience for me, because I never really enjoyed the older games when I did go back and play them... well I did, just not nearly as much as H3 multi-player.

 

In my opinion, Halo 2 has better maps than Halo 3: Coagulation, Headlong, Terminal, Water Works, Relic, Turf, etc... makes me sad face when they will be never played again (who honestly plays system link often? )

 

Its not like crying about it is going to help, im all for getting rid of it, as long as it means i can have a larger friends list.

 

What about a larger friends list? I remember all the Lans I had on halo 2. Good Times.

 

i agree with 2 guys above me and im sad because i remember playing halo ce with my friends then halo 2 online doing super jumps and playing with mods and making clans and halo 2 was when i entered the online scene and then upgrading to halo 3 and raping that game and now moving up to halo reach is gonna be insane but over the past 5 years its been great and i love the halo series because of it thanks halo

 

Best memories was on headlong. I would always go in through the balcony or by any possible way to get the objective storming in with duel weapons. Terminal was also amazing. In fact, I freaking loved all the big maps.

Man bungie needs to bring at least 1 into reach on release or dlc.

 

I had some of the greatest games ever on halo 2. The maps were awesome and my group of friends was great. Halo 3 comes close but the nostalgia will always be there.

I am looking forward to a larger friends list though.

 

I really regret not ever playing halo 2, as i never really got to know some of the awesome urban maps they had on there, like headlong and turf. Hopefully we'll see more of this style of map in reach; judging from the trailer it looks like its going that way.

Halo 2 was the portal for me into getting an Xbox 360 at all so... Goodbye. I'll remember all the fun times I had on Headlong, doing superjumps, getting out of maps, and on Coagulation, where I did the famous Tank pinball for my first time...

I'll miss you Halo 2... And I'll be there, when you leave for the last time.

but on to what this fourm is about.when i played halo 2's campaign it was so difrent then normal games.how you follow the events of two characters instead of one like in halo ce and halo 3.you play as one character on one storyline.in halo two they made two seperate story lines for two seperate characters.and blood glutch will be gone=( that map is so famous cause of rvb.someone here should make a blood glutch replica.that would be so awesome. i would give a cookie to whoever made that map and gave it to me =)

back on topic. I loved halo 2. somehow, halo 2 was *Magical* compared to CE and 3.

dual wielding, vehicle hijacking, dual needling, dual hands no weapon with oddball, and blind skull. made it worth it
