Sandbox Ephermeral

    Ephermeral
    Ephermeral is an reverse symmetrical map i made last weekend. its good for slayer with teams of 3 to 5 or up to ten on FFA, though i guess you could try using teams of 2 or 6. It's a multiple level map with 2 sides/bases that seems to work pretty well. i have'nt gotten to test it yet because of my friends being too addicted to MW2, so if you play on it tell me how it goes. this is my first attempt at a competitive map, and i just guessed about the weapon layout, but i based it off what i like to use while trying not to make it too much, so here's the weapon list:
    BR x4 (i think)
    AR x2
    Needler x2
    Mauler x2
    Carbine x2
    Rockets x1
    Sniper x1
    SMG x2
    Spiker x2
    I'm pretty sure thats it there might only be 2 BR's. Ok, so here go the pics (again, i have no action shots because i haven't really been able to test it.):

    This map has a pretty darn good layout but the floors look really rough without merging them, you might wanna fix that.

    thanks, i was going to merge, but sadly i hit the object limit. i'll probably cut out some stuff and do that, i should have a v2 up within 2-3 weeks.

    Even if u merge them when u save and quit they will shift when u restart map i advise take your floor in the area it needs it the most and ghost merge those pieces.. floor will stay much more straighter.. the layout looks fun im gonna dl and get back to u on it .. good job

    Really digging the way the map looks from the outside (second picture). I'm not a fan of interlocking everywhere myself, but there are some places at which it would help (4th 6th and possibly 7th pictures)

    okay then, ill fix it up w/ some merging and get it back up asap, ive been real busy this week so nothing has been done so ar. any suggestions on what to cut out /change besides the floors? if so i would love to know. thanks.

    Sounds good man, good luck with it! I think the OS/Invis placement might get a bit annoying during battle. If a player is really pressed to get a powerup, it seems like it would sometimes result in a fall out. perhaps merge a diagonal platform, with the powerup on it? Either way, looks good.
