Turf V3 Download Created by: c74yt0 Here it is, the 3rd and final version of the Classic, Turf. I've went the extra mile for this one fine tuning and making sure everything was smooth, clean, and perfect. I wanted this version to feel and play like the original Turf. So I dusted off my Halo 2, inserted it into the 360, selected Turf (took forever to load by the way), and took a walk down memory lane. To capture some of those details that were in the original Turf, I took certain notes of jumps and pathways, so the remake is as true to the original. Of course Foundry is a bit small, but I feel this is as close as you'll get to a complete Turf Remake(unless of course Bungie remakes it), but until they do or if they do, here is Classic Turf. How was this missed!? Looks godly accurate. Proof is in the downloading however and I'm about to do just that.

Well you cant make it perfect but ive seen better. I dont own the map but my friend showed it to me one time. Just mostly the garage doors and the medic hut area
Well that's convincing, "my friend showed it to me one time". That doesn't help What's wrong with the garage and medic? Please explain other then saying you saw one better without why it was, or what's wrong with this one.
This map looks good. If my xbox wasn't 'kaput' I would download this map so fast. It appears you have the best Turf map to date.
*In before Featured!* lol At first, I thought, "Oh god, not another stupid remake.' But I looked in because Turf was my favorite map. This is a pretty sweet remake. Actually, I really like the garage doors and the medic tent. The pallet as doors is a definite improvement over the shield doors I usually see. And most people make the medic tent by flipping over a Corner piece. Great job! Hope this gets featured.
You know what, I have seen better too, I think the creator was Bungie, but from another game Halo 2, I could be mistaken though :/ Thanks for the comments and feedback everyone
I played some games and I have a little bit of feedback. The construction was great. I knew exactly where I was on the first play through and there was minimal bumping on the floor. It played well and I'd love to get some more games in. There are some issues though. We only played FFA Slayer, so this might apply to the other gametypes too. On start one guy spawned right behind another (and there were only three of us, so it wasn't down to an overly large party). Rest of the game was fine, but I also noticed a lack of respawn areas. So I think you might have to go in and play around with that until you can eliminate any and all spawning problems. If you do that, I'd say this remake was almost unbeatable.
Only spawn issues? If I was a good Forger, I'd redo the entire spawn system just because this map is so awesome. It's like... Metalock::Warlock Chill Out v3::Chill Out Turf V3::Turf Metalock=Awesome Chill Out 3=Awesome Turf 3=Awesome If those spawn points ever get fixed, let me know.
In my queue! The one thing I look for in remakes are jump height/distance accuracy. If you nailed that (you said you paid special attention to it), then this will stay on my HDD for quite a while. --dc
