Liz tests a standard wired controller to see if she is experiencing slow-turn, a side-effect cause by normal wear and tear.

TheControllerShop.com has special controllers that are guaranteed to not experience slow-turn, or you can even ship your controller in for them to fix it for you for a decent price.

Mine does that. It also moves to the left slowly and by itself sometimes. Very annoying.

The one I use is the one that came in the box of my preordered release day 360 so it's understandable that it is doing something like that. Last year I bought a new 360 after my second RRoD and got a new controller with that one but for some reason it won't charge battery packs. It lights up red like it's charging when I plug it in but then 5 minutes later it claims it is charged and lights up green. After that I unplug it and it dies immediately. However, the same battery pack charges when plugged into my old controller. I bought a new charge pack about a month ago figuring there could be some compatibility issues with an old battery and a new controller, but no dice. Ah well, like she said, M$ and their high quality hardware strikes again.

This becomes especially annoying for the competitive player, many many MLG pros actually get their controllers fixed because of this same issue.....plus controllershop makes some awesome looking controllers.

Used to happen to me all the time on my old controller, but it was when I always looked up. I could turn left and right fine but when I try to look up it look longer than the other ways...Sigh

Mine does this as well. With my older controller, it takes about 3 seconds to look down, and half a second to look up. Such a pain...

Awesome, one of my wireless controllers occasionally takes forever to look up and down, good to know I'm not just insane.

Actually thats just from overuse of the controller, your joystick gets really sticky, making it stay where you were just leaning it, happened to me as well.

So that's what that's called? I have that problem when I look down, which presents major problems when forging.

One of my controllers has trouble looking left, the other one has trouble crouching, not a very hard choice when I have a guest over.

My controller used to stick and turn slowly, but I just dropped it again and I guess it fixed it.

Also, I need a controller with a coolant system, my hands are always sweating during those long sessions.

If I wasn't in so much debt I would have bought a no slow-turn controller form the controllershop. I've had slow-turn affect at least ten regular xbox controllers and about 12 xbox 360 controllers.

Sounds like a major problem but I guarantee the PS3 will also have the same problem, it's just the toggle stick that is the problem. I've never had the problem tbh.

    Also blatant advertising?

Even if I got mine fixed (pretty sure left is slow), I'd still suck at playing Halo. :-(

Thecontrollershop was a sponsor of the Conflict 1v1 Tournament and supplied prizes for the winners.

IDC, That doesn't defeat the point that it is blatant advertising.

TheControllerShop is an affiliate, therefore advertising is fine for them to a certain extent.
