I mostly play Ground war or something like Demolition or CTF because the classic TDM gets boring. And if you care too deeply about your W/L, you don't have to unplug your Ethernet, just go straight to the dashboard.
why would you care about your W/L? i have a friend who cuts to dashboard everytime he goes negative in a game, which isnt very often, and he has a ridiculous K/D ratio. but W/L? that is the most pointless ratio in the game.
I still have no f'ing clue why any one cares about any ratio's, whether that be k/d, win/loss, etc. I simply don't know why and will never know, I'm happy with whatever I have and could really care less. When I pop in MW2 I plan on having a fun time, I plan on wasting time, and it's just a game where I can forget about every thing else, blow **** up, chill with my interweb friends, and kill animated characters lol.
No not really, score is. If I had a chance to choose 2 people to play on my team, one who had ratio of 2.00 and the other with .60, guess who imma choose? I don't want to play with someone who loses the majority of their games, i want someone who wins. My K/D ratio is 1.59 and W/L is 1.50, and my accuracy is 24.07%... When I play MW2, I like to play to win, screw the "fun"
same reason people care about getting the most fake money in monopoly. personally, i say 'i'm happy with whatever, i'm here for a fun time' to help cope with losing a game of monopoly.
So my game finally gave in and broke completely the other day. It's had to cracks since the day I got it (thought they were just scratches) and only decides to break now. -.- Hopefully I can find the receipt so I can get a replacement from EB Games.
I don't give a **** about my ratios, I don't care what people think about me. Whenever a clan that thinks they're so pro and **** comes along and calls out people for having a bad ratio, I think to myself why they care so much about a game and how they take it so seriously.
Three words my friend, Leader...board. Its all about the leaderboard. Once you commit to the leaderboard, You commit! Every game has to turn out a victory, or else you... look... like.. crap... =)
I too don't think ratios are important. As long as I'm having a good time while playing I'll be happy. My W/L ratio is only like .35 while my K/D is something like 1.10 or 1.09

Recently switched to the MP5K cause one guy had it and I thought it looked cool. Two games later I went 62 and 20. Now, I'm going, "What.. the.. HELL!?" Only reason I switched to it cause it looked cool! I am 10th Prestige 70, some guy modded it for me. Now I'm hella bored and I want to prestige again. Also, on the talk about the ratios, I could REALLY care less. I only like to have my Wins > Losses, and Kills > Deaths, but that really doesn't happen much. Mainly because every domination game I go into I get the sucky ass team. Was playing HQ with Insane, Theorem, Aaronator, Roche : The Rich Porn, and some other guy I forget. o_o I didn't talk much, or at least I tried not too. =/
I used to be a try-hard. When the game came out I wanted the highest k/d I could get. I think I got it to about 2.38 and thats when all the bullshit started happening. People found the care package glitch, people started boosting, people found out that nukes weren't that hard to get and started camping to get their harrier. So I said **** it, its just a number. Now I just play for fun, and could care less about my ratio. It is going down, in the 2.1#'s now, and I just do sniping or be a team player and cap the flag or plant a bomb.
Akimbo Deagles are amazing. Single Deagle sucks, though. Akimbo was a pain in the ass to get. -__________-
I absolutely love the fact that I use an M16 with SP and Holographic and when I go 1v1 with some with a FAMAS and I fire two shots directly on him but he kills me with one and the killcam shows that both shots miss and on his screen he was two feet to the left. This does not happen with any other video game I play. This doesn't even happen in CoD4 or WaW. It's just Modern Warfare 2. If I had a capture card I would record every single instance of this and even show that everyone in every game has a full bar connection including me. I even play with no computers on with the only thing connected to the internet being my Xbox.
Dude, thats what I was complaining about before. With SP M16 is crap, I don't want to use another gun because I mastered it already and I like it alot, it just seems like lately it doesn't kill lik it use to...
Stuff like that happens to me, but its usually an instance where I clearly shot him on my screen and the killcam doesn't even show me shooting. Due to the horrible servers on this game, hosts can have up to almost a half of a second hit registration lead on people with worse connections, which is a lot when some guns can kill in 1 second in some instances. I don't think I've been host for one day in my time on this game, so it is a very common occurrence for me.
Anyone notice how the AK-47 has a more powerful and accurate grenade launcher with a longer reload? Also, the M1014 Red Dot Sight's accuracy with steady aim is quite good, and even better, it doesn't change while sprinting/sitting/prone.
