My friend started a vlog channel and I was wondering if you guys could critique him and give some constructive criticism as well as your opinion. He is fairly new to youtube but I think he's got some potential. YouTube- First Vlog (Feb. 12, 2010)
I think he's not funny. Seriously it's really weird and if he did become famous from his Vlog's then he would become the new Fred :/
Some of the stuff he did was kinda funny (I never actually laughed), but most of the time it seemed like he was trying too hard to be funny (yelling, etc), which just ended up awkward and kind of lame. I'm sure some youtubers will like that stuff, but it's just not my style.
I see what you mean. And I don't actually laugh at anything on youtube. But stuff makes me laugh inside. I think everyone is like that. Here is his second one. He edited this one by himself and without my help. Let me know if his delivery and overall acting was better. YouTube- Valentine's Day Vlog
Nah, there are several people on youtube that actually make me laugh out loud. And, yeah, the second vid is better. The cat and annotations were a nice touch, and I liked the WoW thing.
To me, it wasn't funny at all. He was trying to hard to be funny/entertaining. He copies others styles (see: boxy). It was really quite annoying to be honest.
I see what you mean. And yeah the annotations were pretty funny. okay, thanks for your opinion. I'll talk to him about being more natural and not trying so hard. He just finished his 3rd one.
