As Speed-e said if you are scoped in for most of the time, then you have tunnel vision and can be oblivious to all around you. Quick-scoping allows you to see the entire screen and radar. I'm not saying that you want to quick-scope all the time, but it can get you out of sticky situations close range where you can't get out a secondary quickly. And, in my opinion, its more fun when you quick-scope. You also get a feeling of accomplishment when you can pull one off to get out of a sticky situation.
7 or 8?? Sheesh, I just moved up to 5 and it's really difficult to get used to. Anyone up for some quickscoping private matches? All this talk about quickscoping finally got me to try it out and I'm... decent, but I could definitely use all the practice I can get
i lowered down to 6 because im working on red tiger for the intervention. i used to run around with 8.
OZARK- send me a FR on xbl, i have a few friends who enjoy quickscoping and we can put a game together.
I just got a 41 Killstreak with a Thermal ACR. Team deathmatch on Favela. It was pretty much awesome.
Infinity Ward needs to patch the ****ing Care Package so it only contains non-lethal rewards and ammo like they originally intended. I'm sick of losing because of some lucky ****er getting a four killstreak and getting 36 more kills with a Chopper Gunner on because no one on my team has the brains to use Cold Blooded. No, I will not use a Stinger Missile because even by the time I shoot it down, my dipshit teammates already fed the other team enough kills to guarantee a win.
what would be the point if it only contained non-lethal rewards? the only non-lethal rewards in the game are UAV and counter UAV, which are at the same and lower killstreaks by themselves. The EMP, being a 15 killstreak, would have to have a low probability of being dropped, so why would you use a care package if you are pretty much guaranteed to get a reward that you could have gotten one killstreak below, at the same level, or pointless resupply. Also, people hardly ever get something that affects the outcome of the game. And you can take a chopper gunner down in 2 stingers, giving the person using it enough time to get about 3 kills at most, hardly enough to "guarantee a win." i realize much of my post might be confusingly worded. i apologize.
Question: why is the intervention the preferred sniper for quickscoping? The 50 cal is alot easier to pull a second shot off with
You can't get mad. The chances of getting those 10+ killstreak rewards are very small. Most of the time you get ammo and uavs from the care-packages. I wouldn't complain. When ever I see an Apache or AC-130, im heading inside! The only times I would attempt to take them out is when I know a teammate is also trying to down the aircrafts, especially when it comes to AC-130s... Plus, on maps like Skidrow and karachi, getting kills with the Apache and Ac-130 is very difficult. There's too much buildings to take cover in...
My team mates are ****ing stupid. Sgt Foley: HOLY **** A CHOPPER INCOMING Team: Hey guys its time to run around like total dumb asses and get killed over and over!
not true. I would get at least a predator missile every time, but around 25-40% of the time I'd get a chopper gunner (never an AC 130) Today, in the same game, Shanon got two AC 130s from the care packages.
Shanon is just one lucky bastard. I've been using care package for the past two weeks and all I ever get are helicopters, UAVs and counters
what about when your enemy calls in an airdrop with two chopper gunners, a pavelow, and a harrier, and you steal them all? if you have a good team, than a lot of times you can steal some pretty good stuff. however, if you are camper, than the enemy team will have it all.
the intervention has the highest 1 shot kill rate. and it encourages scoping out directly after taking the shot, which encourages good quickscoping habits. if you are a great quickscoper, than you can use the barrett just fine. but, the intervention is great because it doesnt let you spam the trigger, it makes you use skill.
