Yeah the people do suck. I know its been discussed in this thread already but i cant help but stress how much these people who are playing the demo are morons! I literally try my best to help every single player on my team, not just my squad. The other day I tried fixing some dudes tank , he drove off when I was 1/4 finished, next thing you he gets annihilated by an rpg... Im all-round player when it comes to Bad company. I heal, repair, defib, etc when I see its nessecary. You know, like if my whole squad are assaults, i'll become a medic just so I can revive them when they die. Its a good way to preserve the reinforcements count... My strategies are always excellent ones, they could be perfect if people just knew how to cooperate with there squads, instead of running off by themselves... I'm so addicted to bad company, its too much damn fun blowing **** up!
Hey guys, the C4 a quadbike like a ***** works epic ;p I got 5 kills and an objective destroy on my first attempt ;p Had about 10 c4's on it and BOOM whole thing went down. It doesn't work very well with larger vehicles, quad is agile and quick so its the best option.
Me and a friend tried the C4/ATV trick, but both times, another idiot teammate would steal it and all we ever got out of it was a kill. On another note, I just got 3600+ points, had two teammates with 4100+ points, and we still lost defending... wtf. A little too much attacker reinforcements after destroying a base, methinks. I did enjoy myself, though, after taking a few days break from the demo.
Seriously though, Does Anyone notice that the Weapon Skins and Models look like Utter CRAP compared to BC1? Why the Downgrade?
It's a demo. Microsoft knew there was a large population of people that would be downloading the game, so they reduced the size and most likely compressed the texture qualities. The full game should be better. I doubt they are stupid enough to downgrade as you put it, the graphics. Bad move if so
****ing helicopters. I shot a tracer at a black hawk though, and ****ed it up with my RPG and those of my allies.
In the Xbox demo, there is only the RPG also, a bit of advice: never use tanks on the front line. They were designed to be terrible at close quarters. Use them at medium to long range and shell the **** out of buildings and people. That way, you can back behind cover when necessary and you can provide alot of help to your troops.
Yea about people being morons, I was on Attackers and I managed to steal the enemies' Apache. I also managed to land it and I started to make repairs when one of my teammates gets in, attempts to fly and crashes into the ocean. I was so mad that I blackmailed him for the next half hour with vulgar messages. :/ I srsly hate how all the bad people think they're good and always end up getting the good vehicles before I do and destroying them instantly.
You blackmailed him? You must've had some pictures of you and his mom or something. I think hate mail should be the correct term. And I managed to steal a tank, a light tank, and a helicopter on the same game. I stole the tanks by just hitting it with one RPG, and they bail the **** out like it's the end of the world. I just run over and kill the retard driver and take the tank back behind a building to repair it. Why the hell would they abandon a slightly damaged tank? I don't know.
I hate tank drivers that don't attack. Today there was a driver that would take every tank he could and just sit at the base taking potshots, I told him to move up but he just said stfu and ignored me.
It actually works really well. Tanks are quite good at shelling bases from a distance and it saves reinforcements.
I agree it's a good method but annoying as **** to the other team. I think its too hard to take down the Apache, the anti air doesn't re-spawn quick enough and the Apache can take it down in seconds while its looking round just to find it. BTW guys I'm setting up the discussion thread a few days before the game comes out so don't go stealing mah thread ideas
This was at the final base where there is quite a large gap. As I said, the Gustav or a sniper can easily take down a Heli.
Yep, the apache is total rape. There is nothing that can bring it down besides tanks. The secondary on the large tank is quite effective and the AA gun of course. The problem is, most guns cant aim very high vertically, so its very hard to get a good shot. Lolfail. You need to be at equal or greater height to mortar someone. WE DONT HAVE GUSTAVS IN THE XBOX DEMO. And a sniper? Wtf?
