oh, m=hf/c[sup]2[/sup] is an equation derived from E=mc[sup]2[/sup](I was looking into momentum with my professor earlier), sorry for the misunderstanding there. Honestly though, stating a photon has mass is false. This has yet to be proven, and is not considered fact yet.

It's like saying I'm going to be a millionaire, you can't prove that I will or won't as of now. It's what I was simply trying to explain earlier here.

I think warspeed or faster than light travel is like multidimensional travel or time travel - IF its possible, the technology and knowledge necessary to do so would cause such a huge paradigm shift in how we see and know the universe on a physical level. There are many such examples in history. Believing that the world is flat, that the earth is the center of the universe, that flight is impossible, that the sound barrier would kill a man; all these things were once accepted as fact. I think this is another one of those things that isn't visible or understandable until you are on the other side.
To say its impossible, that thats basic science, denies that science is ever changing and expanding. 500 years ago the concept of sending a bit of text across the entirety of earth in one second would have seemed impossible, to the scienctists of the time.
