So anyway some of you may know that I'm a fan of Avatar. Most of you know I'm a fan of Mirror's Edge. Well anyway I decided to download Photoshop and try my hand at making something, and this is what I did.
If thats your first attempt why does it look better than most of my stuff? nvmnd, looks good, could use a little more to the right but what you have right now is good looking. Edit: I see your power level exceeds 9,000 as well... lol
Yeah, I wouldn't have noticed it due to its subtlety unless you provided the original. Anyway, it looks wonderful and I would've never guessed that this is a first time shoop, though I reckon you've had some prior experience with GnA in some other programme.
I just skipped straight to the image, and I looked at it and said,"It looks like he made her into an avatar!" After that I looked at your description, and I saw that's what you were going for. So in fewer words, Great job man!! You nailed it! I just wish it was higher resolution.
It was sort of hard because the image was so bright. I'll see if I can. Oh and I found out that photobucket downsized the image. Here is the full sized one.
I used this tutorial: Create James Cameron’s AVATAR Movie Poster in Photoshop Tutorial - Web Design Blog I didn't follow it completely, I found some changes in Blend mode and hues worked better.
