Are you? I dont use it for example. Hari mastered the Barrett, so he/she/it isnt using it either, so is Mace ... And maybe a lot of peaople use it beacause its good? Why, because its better, same concept with M16 and Famas, if I wanted to play with a 3 Burst Assault Riffle, I would choose one of those two too
Actually there is a glitch. Shoot down UAV and helicopters with an assault rifle. I'm pretty sure the glitch works that every bullet hit counts as one killstreak destroyed so if you put 18 bullets into a UAV plane, then thats 18 killstreaks destroyed. I got the pro in like 5 games. I kept wondering how I was getting all these killstreaks killed and then someone explained it to me since I was shooting down UAV and helicopters with my famas.

With your arguement, I can say the noob tube takes skill to use. To close and it doesn't explode, and to far the more it dips down so the higher you have to look up. If those two guns are to easy to use, then the FAL is, all snipers are, because those require good aim but kill pretty quickly.
Yeah I guess they all are. You know, having a gun that you only have to shoot someone once to kill, is really accurate at all ranges with a decent clip size not to mention a whole array of different attachments to use with it. You don't find that cheap? Cause I do.
they are incredibly cheap. Snipers are one hit kill, sure, but they are terrible at close and mid range.
Know you have been ranting a lot, but you've cooled down and now I'm gonna agree with you. MP5 is the only gun I've used this prestige and It can rape the Ump in multiple situations.
Then why aren't you complaining about the TAR? Or the ACR? Or the absolute strongest weapon in the game, the L86? What about all the Shotguns? What about the Intervention and the Barret? Are those cheap?
The Tar21 is inaccurate at long range, ACR has low damage, L86 has recoil like a ****er, Shotguns suck at mid to long range, and the snipers suck at close range. Any other questions?
The TAR-21, if you know how to use it, can kill just as fast as any other assault rifle at long range. The ACR's perfect accuracy makes up for it and it's more or less about how precise your aim is (see: M16, FAMAS.) The L86, as I said with the TAR, can be very effective if you know how to use it well. Sniper and Shotguns are obvious, but I know a lot of people that can do very, very well with Snipers close range because they have experience with them. Also, you burst fire for Mid to Long range with most guns (save the ACR and maybe the SCAR) and go full auto at closer ranges because it's more effective. When you put it that way, the M16 and FAMAS are actually HANDICAPPED by being FORCED to burst fire making them do worse up close than most guns. This can be fixed by using Steady Aim or a Shotgun attachment. I rarely get killed by the M16 or FAMAS at close range and can easily out gun them at mid range with an MP5k. In any case, the M16 and FAMAS are the middle ground between the Sniper Rifle and fully automatic assault rifle (again, not counting the ACR because of it's perfect accuracy) requiring precise aim instead of recoil control to kill somebody.
I had an idea for a killstreak, it'd be a missile defense killstreak, 18 kills... It makes you the operator of one of these machines, you have as many seconds AFTER you launch the killstreak(during a tac nuke launch) to shoot it in the air, preventing the end of the game. It'd be hard to shoot though. I think it would be a cool feature and would give us hope against nuke boosting or nukes in general.
There's simply nothing that the M16/Famas can't do. Steady Aim/Shotgun makes it deadly at close range and if you have a good enough eye (or an exceptionally large television) you can kill someone from either end of Wasteland. And burst fire wouldn't matter, because if you can aim, you can kill them with only 1 burst. I don't understand how you don't see a problem with a gun that makes it too easy. I'll even admit that whenever I'm having a bad day, I will pull out the M16 and my troubles are solved.

But you started out with ranting about how easy it is to use and how cheap it is. Yes, it does take one burst to the chest, but what are the odds that you can hit a moving target to the chest in an urban/crowded environment? Add to the fact that everything is exploding and bullets are zipping by your head? It's not like it's real life where that actually takes a lot into account, but I know for sure that you would rather fire multiple bursts at someone shooting you rather than take the time to aim for his head or torso to fire. Plus it fires 3 shots at a time, so there is no chance that you can fire a tracer/marker round without flaring up as a red dot. Burst fire is horrible at close range too, but people would rather have sights than a shotgun, and ninja for steady aim, at least in my experience. The M16 is a good weapon, yes, but it does have it's flaws. You should have said that in the first place to prevent all this debating and arguing.
Pretty much everyone IS. And I hate it. They just camp in a corner with the noob tube and Danger Close waiting for people and spam as soon as they see them. It's retarded.
i won't complain about one gun or another, because i'll do fine at best no matter what the enemy team has or is doing. If theyre all shotgunning, then i know what to do against it. the M16 is great, it's THE generic war gun and has been since it was developed (i'm talking irl here) so everyone using it in mw2 is expected, and damn cool if you think about it. the ONE thing i can't stand is noob tube attachments. those things are just... bahhhfhksj. **** that attachment. Thumpers are fine, it's a weapon on its own and its your entire secondary but that damn noob tube attachment on top of something like an m16 is just stupid as ****. I wont use any of that ****.
The M21 is ridiculously fun. In my first game with it I got 11 kills with it, with 5 head shots. Nothing special, I know, but that's not the point. It's ridiculously easy to get head shots, and it has low recoil (but low damage), so I can put two in a guy or one in his head. I don't know what the hell is so special with it, but head shots are a lot easier. The only times I missed head shots are because I was being hit or they move out of my field of vision.
I finaly got my m21 back after prostieging. I had harrier, emergency carepackage, and pavelow on. I went around doubletapping everyone on the map (terminal) and got 2 ac130's, a choppergunner and pred missle. Looove donimation.
