I use an ACR without Stopping Power (Hardline to be precise.) Takes a shitload more skill than with SP considering its one of the weakest guns. By *****, skill-less tactics, I meant as in running around aimlessly and knifing, using dual shotguns, camping one ****ing door waiting for someone to walk by, and the Noob Tube/One Man Army/Danger Close kids. I know sniping takes skill and I know for a fact that the M16 takes skill to use as well considering it was the first gun I mastered. The fact that it's a one hit kill makes it an ultimate camp weapon by sitting in a doorway and all three bullets hit. It's flat out retarded. Other than that, I have respect for it.

Heartbeat Sensors aren't necessarily skill-less if you constantly move around the map with it and not camp one doorway or room. Besides, Ninja counters it effectively. Unless, of course, you have dipshit teammates that walk around with you and DON'T use Ninja and get you killed because they just loooooveeee the 'good' Tier 3 perks like Scrambler and Last Stand (pfft.)

The only time I use sights is when I'm trying to unlock other sights or if I'm using my MP5k and going for headshots for Fall Camo because I'm only 30 more shots away (because I usually die with it when I rush for headshots and the Red Dot makes it 110% easier.) The same goes for the Noob Tube. I use it only to get the Shotgun attachment (which I do NOT consider cheap because a] it only fires SIX pellets instead of EIGHT and b] it usually takes too shots to kill with it and there isn't a lot of ammunition for it.)

As I stated previously, Sniping takes a large degree of skill. However, I do not think it takes ANY skill to snipe on Wasteland with a Thermal Scope. Period.

Any assault rifle can kill in 5-6 shots to the chest without stopping power, at least that's what I believe. I still agree with you in your rant about noob tactics, but if you hate them, play a more tactical game type. Don't like/not good at them? Adapt.

Sniping doesn't take any more skill then anything else.
It just means with the same amount of skill you can get alot more kills.

I hate the ****ing unlimited care package glitch. For the past few days I can't even play anything without being shot by air support. Every match I get into, damn. I hate MW2. Lucky I'm getting ME2, at least they'll patch the **** out of it when I get back.

I'm pretty sure that they are in the process of patching it right now.

I've been playing a lot of Mercenary Team Deathmatch lately and I've seen the least amount of knifers/noob tubers/care package glitchers/etc. in that playlist. That, and S&D.

This is the fastest ammunition-saving method of killing a harrier.

1 RPG, and the equivalent of 7 RPD bullets.

I just tried using the Barrett today. It isnt bad at all. I actually really like it. I now have Blue Tiger and extended mags. Its much harder to quick scope with, so its the kind of sniper you want to get a good position with and then take your time with the shots. A hasty shot will almost always miss.

Not at all. You just need to get used to the loop cycle of the gun. I've gotten the point where I know where the reticle is in the loop even when im zoomed out (as in, if I zoom in from that point, ill immediately know where the bullet will fall).

Quickscoping with the intervention and the barret feel different, but if you're proficient with one, it's pretty easy to use the other.

I've also migrated over to using coldblooded.

Best of both worlds. I'm hidden for the most part, and I'm only seen when I shoot, at which point I use my knowledge from my days with stopping power to use counterstrategy

Herding is so much easier now :D

yeah cold blooded is great. The best sniper spots are hard to see, but in the open so you can see everything, that way, you can kill anyone in sight range before they find you. As soon as ive completed the other killstreak challenges, i plan to keep counter UAV on at all times so i can literally sit in the enemy base and theyll never know if i stay scoped in and kill them slowly and sporadically.

i love the intervention too. Ive tried all of the sniper rifles, and i found that the intervention is my favorite, followed closely by the Barrett. I use both as a matter of fact. I cant stand the other two though.

i ran around with scavenger javelin, shooting down care packages, uavs, counter-uavs, the whole yards. a few games.
but this prestige, i just shot down them when they showed up, adn got it slow and steady.
sitrep is the most aggravating to get.
