Is 60 hours confirmed? Both IGN and Official Xbox Magazine decided not to mention the games length at all in their reviews. I assume if 60 is true then that is including all side quests and whatnot?
Well, from people who have played the game, I've heard if you do everything in the entire game, it can last from 40-50 hours. Also, Bioware themselves said this game is about 40% longer than ME1.
Played it for like 6 hours today. Decided on Adept and it was a good decision. The thing I like the most is the Normandy is like the hub of all your operations. You have your own Captains Cabin the gives you access to all your personal stuff like customizing your armor and collecting things like Model Ships and Fish. Not to mention the Armory and the Tech Lab. All in all I spent a lot of time just walking around the Normandy and other locations talking to people and playing with the customizing options. Not to mention the missions, which so far have been good. You will come across somebody you are supposed to recruit who is veiled in secrecy but when you talk to some people about this person you will know who it is.
Adepts ftw. I am really excited at the looks of the new Normandy, the other seemed bland in comparison, and the SR1 was one helluva ship, in looks and functionality. The customization of armor is really good, no longer will you sacrifice unfortunately ugly armor for it's good stats.
All of you are ****ing lucky... M rated game means I have to pay my mother to get it. Mother cares about grades more than ME2. Therefore, I never got to play it today...
Awesome game. Just barely hit 7 hours now. One thing. I've gotten in two damn glitches, that I didn't even intend on getting in to. Plus, they're irreversible so I had to load my last save, luckily it was recent. Still besides that, game is great. I regret choosing default soldier. Oh yeah, Miranda=HOT
Playing as a Vanguard, and loving it. Heavy pistol for when I can't get close or when its a really bad idea to, and then charge/pull to get close and shotgun things in the face. Its amazing. And for those battles where you're not facing a serious threat? Punch to the face! Saves ammo, you know. My eventual goal is to punch a heavy mech to death. When you guys reach the planet-which-name-I-forgot head to the strip club/bar and listen in on the bachelor party. Funniest conversation I've ever heard in a game. Actually, every conversation you can listen in on or participate in there except the serious story one is hilarious. Oh and Joker? "It's just pissed that all its footage of me looks like a dream sequence."
I picked this up yesterday at gamestop at a mall near my college. I had an interesting discussion with two employees there. Y'all I've never met more dedicated people to gaming. One of them had already logged over 60 hours on bayoneta. I opened my mouth and their words came out. It was disturbing. Anyways, I've played about one hour so far and the introduction was fantastic. I loved the opening cinematics. My goal this first playthrough is to either bang every possible character or create such an influx of drama that the game breaks. I'm alreay well on my way to banging with the ship's pyschiatrist. I'm a soldier class cause it's what I do best at: shootin' ****, but not shotting for ****.

****, I did not realize that ME: 2 already came out. Fuuuuuck. I need to get my parents to give me back my Xbox power cable now. Hopefully I can convince them that since midterms of senior year are over, the rest doesn't really count >.>

Yeah, those glitches are one little quip many reviewers had, but I've yet to come into contact with one. I've only played 3hrs 15mins, though. Downloading Zaeed DLC right now. He looks to be one of the cooler characters, imo. Not necessarily deep or profound, but just an all around badass.
Why so many repeated posts? And it's out tomorrow here. :'( Looks unbelievable. Also, check out the metacritic reviews and see how many 100s it has.
"You don't have know someone. You just have to know where to put it." The best line in the entire game.
This morning I was playing ME2 at work and saw Shadow also. Judging by his new character level he has beaten the game already. I have to admit ME2 is way more enjoyable than ME1. I think they improved dramatically and improvements in a second game are few and far between. I love it.
