looking at that blurred bit again, it seems like it says Loading...80% Please Wait or another percentage... just put 80 for the sake of it. Though I dont know why they would blur that.. unless to keep people from focusing on extraneous things that aren't relevant nor updated. Maybe I think thats the DMR
Bungie.net Reach Page I was intrigued by the weapons being held: Shotgun design: DMR: Light Machine Gun?: Sniper: (hoping for Halo:CE nightvision based on the night sniper mission picture) AR: AR + Magnum:
That's definitely a Grenade Launcher that Emile is holding, but....hmm, what's the thing there on Emile's back? I thought at first that it was one of the new Assault Rifles, but the barrel is way too long if you compare them...could this possible be a Battle Rifle? The barrels are kind of similar...
It looks like it might be, but then again it may just be the retro-ish design. You can see it in some pics on the BNet Project Page under screenshots. There's one of the pics with a few spartans in it all holding ARs EDIT: here
There's a rather lengthy thread in the Reach forum on BNet about that. I'm not sure either way, nor do i really care tbh. As long as he's a f-in badass, thats all that matters to me.
Yeh, some real nice additions to the project page. The Intel part was updated too, and there's some pretty enteresting stuff ive yet to read but looks kinda like pretty cool backstory stuff
Yeah thats a Grenade launcher he is holding. And i think that he has an EVA helmet that he scratched the skull into. Also their is speculation that Bungie is thinking of using both the DMR and BR. Beta testers may have the ability to play maps using either or weapon to see how effective they are in gameplay. I'd hope all together they would add the DMR and keep a version of the BR because the BR with oh say smaller rounds but still the 3 rd burst would be cool. Also adding the DMR and BR along with Sniper would make for interesting scenarios in MM. If you think about it the primary weapon for h3 is the BR then Sniper is 2nd most important with the AR coming in at 3rd. Adding the DMR would make it DMR, BR, Sniper. all being similar but having different ranges and calibers making them more or less effective in situations. Also in a non related but cool thing i noticed. In Halo legends (The Package) the mc pulls out a miniature shotgun. Not the same as the old one at all more like the one from COD Mw2 and no not the striker. I think that shotgun would be epic for MM. A sub compact shotgun that can be pulled as a secondary. Kinda replacement for the Mauler.
What kind of grenade launcher has a scope? It's a DMR, the magazine Emile is reloading just makes the DMR look like a grenade launcher.
I agree about the badass thing... but in any case, he's not black. If you look closely at the picture, Jorge has blonde hair. There's a very faint line seperating the hair from the rest of the face...or at least I hope Bungie didn't make him one of those black guys with dyed blonde hair. Wait, what the hell kind of Spartan takes the time to dye his hair? Hmm, we've got a conundrum here....
It could have some sort of ACOG scope. Low magnification, but more for medium range grenade shots as opposed to having a sort of iron sight. Besides if it was the DMR, why would emile rock the DMR and the BR assuming the BR is on his back. If the DMR is on his back he can't be holding a DMR, that's just silly.
AR mebbeh? In all honesty, I didn't even notice he had a weapon on his back. Still, I'm not convinced it's a grenade launcher :/
Just from looking at the pics of the DMR i don't think its the DMR. It doens't have that big of a clip, if that is a clip he is loading. That would be massive. Okay i found a better pic Here is Emile with the Grenade Launcher. Then look at the other one. Barrel isn't as long as the DMR. the DMR doesn't have that clip deal their its at the back like the br. and it has an case around the trigger. Even now since looking back and forth you can tell its a nade launcher. Its shorter, stalkier and if you zoom in thats not clip its a round drum from a nade launcher
Because its not an uncommon text to see on the screen during campaign (in fact, its likely the most common) and the spacing seems to fit it.
NOTE: Although it is noted in his medical records that he has exhibited symptoms of PTSD in the past there have been no indications of a relapse post-therapy [05/01/2550]. In the edge magazine, it said that characters will exhibit the strains of battle, Jun is going to go stir crazy and attack his team.
