I thought I also heard from a video or something that there will be multiple sex scenes in the campaign so wouldn't that also mean Ashley will stay on the ship? If that's true then I guess it's alright but really stupid if they decide to keep the rest of the characters from ME1 but take out Ashley in ME2.

    Oh, gawd...

Unless maybe it is put in spoiler tags, then it's all okay in my opinion. Although with my curiosity I'll end up finding out half of the story before I even play the game. lol...

That does kinda make sense considering what you see at the beginning of the launch trailer for ME2. It's rather saddening that I can't have Ashley on my team but I decided that I'll probably have Miranda and Jacob as my squad.

    IGN just gave ME2 a 9.6.

I never played ME1, but 2 looks jaw-dropping. I'm really considering getting it, but to the veterans of ME1 do you recommend me getting it without any knowledge? Kind of a stupid question, I know, but I'm probably going to get this now.

Playa, If you start fresh, I believe you would get a quick refresh on what happened in the first game.

Oh, and IGN gave it a 9.5, and a few others gave high 9s as well. I think there was even a 10.

IGN's only gripe was that the game was too referential. Basically, newcomers to the series won't have as much understanding or be as emotionally engaged as someone who played the first game. I highly suggest playing the first game, because even if you don't enjoy the combat, by doing just the bare minimum you can do it in under 10 hours.

Ehh, than I might rent the first one, but I'm definitely buying 2 tomorrow. It would be cool, playing the sequel first, then the prequel but whatever, I'll try to decide what to do. ME2 is finally a game that will drag me away from MW2 from the looks of it.

I am so damn excited. I've been coughing a lot lately, so hopefully I'll be sick and can stay home.

For the life of me I cannot decide what class I want to be. I was a Vanguard in ME1, so I want a change.....

I'm leaning towards Soldier because I feel as if I can't pass up on all those sweet guns, but at the same time Adept and Engineer look pretty damn sweet as well since I occasionally like a more cerebral experience. Someone tell me what to be. Now.

It looks like they updated the Vanguard a lot, I'd use your Vanguard for your play through.

I'm also gonna do an adept later, just because it looks like they revamped some biotic skills so they won't be so standard C:

Yeah, I know they did. I saw the biotic burst power and all, but I still feel the need for a change. Adept powers look pretty sweet but the ability to use that light machinegun and the ammo upgrades with the Soldier are pretty tempting.

Twice? I'm planning on playing at least 6 times, once as every class. Maybe more.

And Creeping, maybe you should try Infiltrator. They get a stealth cloak, ammo upgrades, and completely wreck with a sniper.
