I think the holographic sight is pointless. I mean the red dot is the same and you can see easier with it.
The holo is more zoomed in and you can see through the dot. It's all preference. And about shnipers, the WA recoil isn't bad at all, and the fact that it can 1 shot to the center chest makes up for the small increase in recoil. I use the M21 EBR Silenced. I really doesn't make a difference on that gun. Usually a two hit kill either way, 1HKO Harcore. Also, I prefer the red dot sight. It seems less bulky.
I prefer the Holo... Idk why, I just do better with it, except the SCAR-H, I like red dot a bit better. I'm getting back into being a sniper again, hell I even changed my GT to ItzIntervention I like it
I can't use Marathon/Lightweight/Steady Aim SMG classes. I usually use Scavenger Pro, Danger Close Pro, and Steady Aim Pro with an Mp5k and Claymores. Baiting people into the claymores and staying in the tight areas of the map works best for me, until ****** knifers and model whores come running in. Agreed. I hate this game, but I still keep playing it in hopes that IW will get their **** together and actually fix a lot of the issues. If you want to be a tryhard *****, then use Holographic. It tightens the spread. Any attachment works with it though because it's a one hit kill regardless. Personally, I think you should use the ACR because it's Iron Sights are excellent giving you the option to use a Silencer or Nade Launcher without Bling. Plus, it's accuracy is perfect. Unless, of course, you like using overpowered weaponry that takes very little skill whatsoever.
So I played 5 games with the same basic group. First game I went knives only, kinda mediocre but it was fun. Had a nice conversation with a noobtoober. Next game I sniped on Afghan, had a riot shield guy run interference for me whilst I protected him. I got sooooooo many triple kills. I died quite a bit, which was annoying because they were either random noob toobs (from the noobtoober on the last game) or flankers with ARs. I heard the riot shield guy say "DUDE he's taking everyone out" ":ffmic:: who?" "This sniper guy, I don't understand it" Next game was Skidrow, sniped, same dude ran interference, noob toober was on my team again. Did very well. Then terminal, I was calling shots and they reciprocated. Riot shield guy had it in for me and kept trying to rush me, but I caught him before he could see me and knifed him. Did very well. Ended it on skidrow, did mediocre. Going to play again in an hour.
So I been obsessed with sniping, go figure. I've been using the MW2000 or w/e the third sniper is, silenced with thermal on hardcore and heartbeat with thermal on GW and such. First prestige nub \o/ What are these hacks and mods everyone keeps complaining about?
i prefer the holographic to red dot. a scar or h-bar are the only i really use with them available. more often i go intervention/acog, or an occasional covey carbine with some non-sight attachment, i like its iron sights.
I'm at second prestige, but I regret it now. I have to unlock everything all over again, but at least I got the "Round 2" title.
prestiging is K, I did it because I play alot and want to keep leveling up but if you don't play that much I don't think you should do it without any prior thought. These hax and mods are 3 things. One is a mod that allows you to play Global Thermonuclear War, but it lags BAD. I heard a rumor about a hack that makes you lose millions of exp for a kill. The last is a mod, a mod named " "SargeantSarcasm" that pwnz newbz with a sniper. Now I need a question answered. What is so good about the MP5K and Intervention?
the first, nothing. people who use it are just limiting themselves. you can accomplish anything it can do but better with other guns. same for most SMGs in the game. The intervention is usually preferred for quick scoping, and it produces one shot kills more often. and the bolt action can make many people more accurate. the actual gun accuracy is minimally better, if any,if you shoot the semi autos with controlled shots. but the bolt action gives a lot of people, including myself, more of a mental confidence, with more of a "one shot, one kill" feel. it just feels better for a lot of people. its like golf (for anyone who plays): if you dont think youre going to hit the ball well, you wont. a lot sniping is just confidence, in my opinion.
I just like using the Intervention because I'm so used to bolt actions. When I use a semi-auto, I freak out. I can't say anything about the MP5K, never used it much, but I like the fire rate.
The MP5k is a fairly average gun, it's OK, but not that good. I wish the MP5 was still in MP5 was still in the game. I can't snipe for crap. I'm practicing, yes, but I'm not a good sniper. But I like the Intervention a lot though.
The MP5K is good you guys just don't know how to play with it. It's more of a rush gun, I use it with Marathon, Stopping Power (would be Lightweight, but the MP5's power is lacking) and steady aim. It's not a camping gun, you have to go nuts with it. I like it because it suits how I play, no camping needed.
Haha, spas-12 with Grip, stopping power and steady aim is ridiculous. Got a 11 kill streak within 3 minutes on favela running around with it.
I use it because I like the look of it and it was the first SMG I ever used and it kinda stuck with me. It's Iron Sights are easy to use, which makes using a Silencer much more optimal. It's main use is for flanking. Marathon, Stopping Power, and Steady Aim with a Silencer is what I use for when I try to catch enemies off guard. The silencer really helps because you can take out a good amount of enemies without your dot appearing on radar. Plus, with Stedy Aim, it's hipfire accuracy is very good. If you want to play defensively with it, go with Scavenger Pro with Claymores. Set up shop in a very tight area of the map and patrol that area, using Claymores to catch people off guard and used as an alarm if someones inside your perimeter.
