Till they actually post it I would continue to make it. Do not be afraid of some one trying the same idea you are working on. You can end up doing better than what they are making... or end up collaborating in the end. Competition is often good and proves better maps because of it. New idea for a gametype. It can be taken into many different themes but over all the game type is one flag. and the Flag steal point is in a random different points. Different rooms in a building.... each situations leads to different situttion and style you will need to play the map.\ Doesn't need so much to modify gametypes but map set up for flag.
Ive got some ideas #45 Form: VIP (One-sided) Gameplay: The Vip (President) starts out in a city(1,2, and 3 story buildings). The terrorists (Attackers) are in the city and have to find the President and take him hostage. Killing the president gives them negative points so the terrorists, DONT KILL THE VIP! The President has no damage, so shooting the terrorists wont do anything. The SWAT Team (Defenders) have to go into the city and eliminate the terrorists and rescue the VIP. Have the VIP and the defenders go through a man cannon to two different teleporters. The VIPs increased gravity will send him through the first teleporter while the defenders will go through the second. The terrorists want to capture and hold the VIP hostage in the city while the SWAT go into the city to rescue the VIP. If the VIP can get out of the city to the defenders, the terrorists will lose and the defenders will win. Map: Sandbox
so whats preventing the president just walking to the mancannon? the terrorists cant shoot him because they'll lose points... Why not use a vehicle?
