    What is it about?

I ask because this computer isn't the best video streaming computer and the Video name and description doesn't really provide any helpful insight as to what it's about.

It's difficult for me to summarize and I'd rather not say anything at all, because inevitably I will only recount my interpretations. It would be best if you just experienced it for yourself and came to your own conclusions. Then we can discuss.

Since I only at this time viewed the first one, I can say that I have heard about this theory, and I really do believe it could happen, unless a population change, or something drastic happens soon, we will run out of resources.

Edit: Heres the guy, Thomas Malthus, who first thought of the theory in his book, Principles of Population.

It's an interesting, if a bit long winded, video. The thing is that, like he said, once you take the time to think about it, you get it in seconds. It's not something that I was shocked or amazed at what he was saying as I think all of it is pretty common sense considering.

I agree with what he said but I think he could have really cut it down to two videos rather then the eight he has. I get that he was hammering in the point but it got a little to much.

Personaly, if I have to pick one thing that I have to choose on the right hand column, it would have to be war. At least it would mean a lot of money would be put into research and things that could advance a culture further.

Ah, but if you picked disease then that would mean research would be placed into life-preserving mediums and technology would lean more towards that. If you pick war then technology will be put forward in life taking mediums.

If you look at V for Vendetta then people will stand to profit from disease. Today, people profit from war. Every solution seems to have it's own inherent set of social problems.

But then you get back to the problem. Once you pick disease, you either get rid of the possibility of controlling it or you get rid of it being any danger. Medicine is part of the problem with overpopulation.

War, on the other hand, uses absolutely everything. It is a true competitive enviorment that uses the entire capabilities of a nation. And War will always cause a lot of casualties while also advancing structure design, technology, speed and efficiancy of everything that can be used.

Not necessarily. War induces fear among different people. Of course you'd have to have a reason to fight. There are tribes in the Amazon that will kill each other for the sole basis of survival, but society as whole is just too civilized for such a crude tool of population control. I'm not going to kill you and you're most likely not going to kill me.
