This sounds like a pretty cool idea mate, looking forward to it. What's the layout of the series going to be like? Is it going to be you and some friends playing maps people recommend and reviewing them while showing gameplay footage (similar to Halo 3 Forges), or completely different? As for the video promo, I felt that it was a bit quiet (I'm assuming you were going for the worried whispering to self as the guy moved about the map, so I understand that it was meant to be quiet, but you might have been able to convey that whilst keeping it more audible + comprehensible (some parts were slightly unclear)). Out of interest, what mic(s) were you using? I also felt that it was a bit static between 0:42-0:51. You could have had him crouch backwards and forwards as if he was nervously moving on the spot in the room and looking from side to side as he backs up into what he thinks it the corner, but bumps into zombie (don't actually show the zombie [maybe just its feet], but instead follow the character as he shuffles backwards). Them maybe show him raise his face to the camera as he says "awh crap" before panning slightly upwards to show the zombie kill him + send his body flying into the camera. But that's just an opinion, I think you still got the humour across in your version and I'm in no way saying that you should change it. I especially liked the head raising at 0:52 when he says "what's that!?".
You dont know how relived i am to see that someone had noticed this and cared. As for the layout, the series is going to be similar to Halo 3 Forges, but a lot more organized and connected to the audience. For example, in each episode i will ask a few questions (most likely the same baseline Questions for each episode) to the maker of the map, like "what makes this map different" and "What are some Dos and Don'ts?" After each episode i will leave the gamertag for LastManStanding telling viewers to send in their maps, and a group of testers will check each of them out to find #1. The first episode will be done before the weekend is over.
