yes flashes are much better as they kind of stun as well. I don't often use secondary grenades to be honest...
I usually only use secondary grenades when I know i'm going into a room with more than one person or a room that I know nothing about.
I used to NEVER use special grenades(except smoke, in search of course) Smoke is useless w/o coldblooded in search because there's bound to be an enemy with a thermal scope I now use flash grenades, but I ****ing hate flashbanging myself! Stuns aren't nearly as effective IMO.
Dude. 74 kills, 20 deaths, ground war domination on highrise. Using only pred missile, harrier, and chopper gunner as killstreaks and a tacknife throwing knife combo. Lol. I just unlocked. So I'm going for the nuke soon.
In regards of smoke nades, I don't claim them to be extremely useful, but I feel cool as **** making an area smokey. Every once in a while, I will manage to snatch a kill. Otherwise, I use flash bangs, because I've been hit by them a few too many times. They really make you a hair from useless. Well, I'm off to use some run 'n' gun style tactics with my sniper in FFA.

I just used an intervention acog spas combo. I felt so non-noob. I like it the best now. But I may not keep the acog.
And dump the shotty for a handgun, I personally recommend the M9 FMJ/Silenced/Akimbo. But if you really insist on using a shogun at least the M1014 with foregrip.
I've used both shotguns before and I can honestly say that I have never had anything good come out of the spas. M1014 definitely has way more damage and range at least in what I've seen.
I actually really like the acog for a sniper, but I threw the thermal scope on and, wow. Great. Spas is my fave secondary weapon. I use the red dot for it lol. It's so great. Sniper w/ Thermal Spas = All around great class
Fun fact 4: if you want the nasty drop shot, change your button layout to tactical. Does anyone know why they didn't bring back the N0M4D button layout for the second one?
