Is it me, or is lightweight pro/marathon pro combo are the best perks? But th need to fix the care package glitch, honestly **** is ridiculous.
It's not a ****ing glitch. If someone is knifing, camp the long corridors. It works and they'll either quit and do something else or keep giving you points.
Got a 25 killstreak and the game ended before i could call in the nuke. It was my first nuke too. but then i got redemntion by joining a game wasteland that was half way over and we were losing and i got a nuke with Barret .50 cal! It was awesome.
The care package "glitch" isn't one. Someone went into the coding of the game and looked. When holding the CP marker your speed is multiplied by 1.4 Lightweight adds to that, so it's a bit ridiculous, but not a glitch. The care package "glitch" isn't one. He might be referring to the glitch where you can get unlimited care packages but I think that was patched.
Played a game on afghan, got a 22 killstreak with a M21 EBR. I was on the sniping ledge, but looking back at where the domination point is in domination. kept sniping ****'s who would run by. Also, on Skidrow, went 44 and 5. Was using Tar w/ silencer and hbs, dual rangers, frag, smoke, bling pro, cold blooded pro, and ninja pro.
I think at some point over the weekend I went 58 and <9 with the Tar 21 and AA 12. Now here is my setup: Fal with (until Holo) RDS Stinger x2 Perk 1: Scavenger Pro Perk 2: Hardline Pro Perk 3: Commando Pro Like earlier posts, the Fal only takes 2 shots to kill, and it is a semi automatic, and this has bin working out so far, for the team too. I take down enemy kills streaks while I get easy UAV's, Predators, and EAD.
I have a hard time realizing while anybody would use the frags in this game. Most people I know use it to do some random nade throws, but with larger maps random nades have officially been nerfed. Semtex requires no cooking time and I've been just as accurate with it as I was with frags and in many cases, more accurate. I never even unlocked the first challenge involving frag grenades. Plus, you get the added awesomeness of being able to stick someone.
My class as of right now are either: P90 Silenced M9 FMJ Throwing Knife Marathon Pro Lightweight Pro Steady Aim Pro or M4A1 FMJ Silenced M9 FMJ Silenced Throwing Knife Bling Pro Stopping Power Pro Steady Aim Pro The only two classes that I use consistently through every prestige or game type.
I have begun using a sniper more often. Barret .50 Caliber w/ thermal Spas w/ Red Dot Frag Smoke Sleight of Hand Pro Stopping Power Pro Commando Pro I didn't think the thermal would make much a of a difference, but it does for me. I quick scope and what not so much better. Notice I use smoke nades ^. Throw them and pick off the courageous kind. The sniper is so much fun.
As a sniper, you are precisely what I dislike. Sacrificing stealth for stopping power. You don't bother making good shots. Anywhere on the body will do. You don't bother with good position or cover, killstreaks and people kill you anyways. I do love thermal though. Its godly on the intervention.
You don't have to be stealthy if you kill them with stopping power. I never use thermal though mostly because I hate people who use it and because in my mind only people who can't shoot with the regular scope use it. It's almost like a noob tube in scope form. But my sniper class as of right now is Intervention FMJ Silenced M9 Claymore Marathon Pro Stopping Power Pro Steady Aim Pro is it me or does no other sniper get one shot kills as consistently as the intervention?
I don't think that his fault though. The mechanics of the game favors stopping power over any other other perk. The goal of the game is to target and destroy the enemy. Stopping power favors efficiency thereby preserving your own life. Plus, stopping power is in effect every time you fire the gun whereas cold-blooded only prevents killstreaks and uavs. You still show up on the hud if you use a non-silenced class. It's simply easier and certainly the smarter choice to use those perks. The game wasn't built around stealth although stealth does afford a unique way to problem solve. It is nullified in part by the addition of killcams whose only purpose is to eliminate camping. The game hardly takes skill. That said, those who play ingeniously will prosper because they will find ways to exploit the maps to their advantage until everyone learns and a map is played entirely different.
If you are doing your job as a sniper, enemies shouldn't be getting high enough killstreaks to really pose much of a threat. With stopping power, basically every single one of my shots will be a kill shot, which will in turn make sure that the other team won't easily get their killstreaks. If they do, it's a simple matter of choosing a class to take out the killstreak and camping in a building for 45 seconds. If I die, I change classes and take it out, but if I live by staying in a building, I can choose to continue respawning with a sniper. Camping as a sniper is not foolish or noobish, it is simply a different way to play that class.
Semi-Auto Snipers, when comboed with silencers, is when Cold-Blooded is an awesome idea. A sniper that revolves on stealth. Awesome for hardcore and Search and Destroy, because in Core, the Kill Cam is a jerk, it'll blow your cover every time. The Intervention and Barret are awesome with Stopping Power, nothing angers me more than hit markers with weapons that are intended for precise and quick kills, and anything else with these guys are like hit marker heaven. Thermal is also awesome for quick scopes, but I don't like how you can't see detail on players, not to mention some players are harder to notice and you can't change from Black and White thermal like AC-130 or Chopper Gunner. The smoke+thermal combo is cool, but stun is nearly always more useful. My Sniper set up is: Intervention w/Heartbeat SPAS-12 w/Grip Semtex Stun Grenade Sleight of Hand Pro Stopping Power Pro Ninja Pro I like Ninja because I find Heartbeat sensors to be common in Search, so I like to get a jump on people, as well as the silent footsteps help for sneaking. I find myself to be a very mobile sniper.
