Ive played and studied the Turf that is on forgehub and can say without a doubt that this one is exceptionally better, the other one was missing some parts! This is Turf, Halo 3 style! With a very slight difference in the structure and different weapons! Whats new with the weapons are, a mauler and a sword were added to compete with the shotgun. And there is only one new part in the structure, which is towards the back where the now energy sword is.(look at pic down low for explaination). I am a HARDCORE Halo CE, Halo 2, and Halo 3 fan, with more than plenty of experience. Relive the classics is what makes this game the best in the world! thanks for ur time! The center... The sniper is there and the shotgun is where it used to be! of course! The back. Right over that dumpster is the sword.(Note the structure difference is not seen in the pic but it is right next to the right of the pic. You can now get into this room from jumping up on a platform in the room to the right and there is a little opening. It was made this way for more entrances to this area! There is no warthog because it really is not needed. All the weapons are exactly where they used to be, including the BR in the little tunnel to the left! Please comment and rate! Thanks for ur time! this is a terrific map people! can i get some recognition, i might be going insane but i do really believe it is better than the Turf remake on forgehub in the Halo CE/2 remakes section! please let this be shown!
I have seen many turf remakes and there all preaty bad but this one is AMAZING! im DL straight away!!!
Yeah, Turf as a level was always fairly lame, but this definately looks like a good remake. I'm going to check it out.
Please don't blatantly claim your map is better than someone elses,it may well be but thats not fair to the perosn who made the other one and makes you come across a little too presumptious. Will DL tmorow and edit this with my thoughts
I think it could be made A LOT better with some interlocking, not even just for the aesthetic appeal, but for some areas of the maps. For example on the platform next to the two trucks, to make the small hole, boxes could be interlocked in the back part, with stairs merged with geometry to create the ramp part. Otherwise, it looks very accurate, and I would like to know what Ghost201 asked, are the weapons the same? Also, if a v2 is created with interlocking (I suggest that) if you make the super jumps on it I would DL it straightaway (dunno how you could do it so it would work other then just a mancannon, it would have to be difficult to do). This map definitely has potential
