Dam youuu Mine is 390, 90 and 2.7, with 3x shock. I'v had it absolutely ages and really need a newer one. At the moment i have 9 Hellfires, 3 Volcanos and 2 Firehawks. If anyone wants one, gimmie a shout.
lol soz. It's teh first one I've ever found, and I love it so far. And I have 3 hellfires... not sure which ones best. One is 71 dmg with a 12.5 RoF and a 96.5 acc, then one is 105 dmg with the same acc, and a 10.5 RoF, but it also has a 2.3x scope... The other is sorta bad.
ah man, i had a viscious orion that did round 700 with x4 electric, but i gave it to my friend while i was in my "hate all weapons except pistols" phase if your ok with it i can hunt you down some weapons, just name the type you want and ill try and get it... currently my 42 slot bank in the new dlc is full of oranges, so go ahead, i probly have it if you want it.
Any pistol / smg / shotgun with x4 shock would be cool, because i'm gona raise proficiencies. As said before, a better Orion or Penetrator would be cool, because both of mine are so old they are like BB guns.
No, once at 50, it'll just fill the bar up and then stop. Trust me, with my Soldier I have all the proficiency's at 50 'cept for snipers and launchers. It's not that bad for a first one, though the accuracy is really bad. I think with shotgun's the highest shock damage you can get is x2... maybe x3. I've yet to see a x4 and I've been farming for a really long time. But you can get revolvers (not too sure about repeaters) with x4. Same with SMG's. I've got a really good Orion and a pretty decent Penetrator (does corrosive damage x2).
No i read somewhere that theres a bug where the stat bonuses of proficiencies will continue to rise as you invisibly level past 50. I'm 50 now with a full bar, and have little or no way of proving this, but it could be true.
hmmm, sounds interesting... if proved that would explain the pure awesomeness of my hunter. ill jump on borderlands and try to get some shock guns for you then. what class are you?
If it were true, then I would be shooting my shotgun's as fast as an SMG with a 12.5 fire rate. Anywho, I just found an Orion that I can give to you (as mine is better)... It's got 656 dmg, 96.2 acc, 2.7 fire rate, 15 clip, x4 shock, and 2.4x zoom.
Yespleasethankyouverymuch No but the increase in experience that you need for each level of weapon proficiency is not exponential, and is formulaic. It's only a slight increase, but to get to a stupid level your going to need millions of xp. 50 is like 3 million, so 100 would be about 8-10. If you have that much xp in shotgun alone then well done ,

Holy crap youve got a lot of nice ones. i had like 2 snipers close to as good as yours, a really good SMG, and a nice shotty. But i cant remember the details. My old XBL account got screwed up, so i had to make a new one. now my highest character is like 20.
That stinks. Well, whenever you get back in the game, I'll still have all of the guns listed... actually more.

"Hellfire *****" SMG 308 x 10 Damage Really fast fire rate x4 Fire Elemental +10 Ammo Regen It's red colored. Rarest guns in the game.
Sorry to inform you Diz' ...but the Hellfire ***** is a modded gun... I know this because the only Hellfire in the game is Maliwan's Combustion Hellfire. The gun company that makes the ***** series is Hyperion. As for the stats... no legit SMG can have a x10. The really fast fire rate (if it's higher than 18.8) would also be a sign of it being modded. Though, I've yet to come across either of the two guns I've named that's had higher fire rate than 12.5. Highest I have is 18.8. Also, the ammo regen... not only can it not come in a +10, but only Tediore legendary guns can have it. Of course, some class mods can, but that's besides the point. Long story short, that's a modded gun.
Borderlands I'm not sure which platform most of you guys play Borderlands on but if there is anyone that plays it on PS3, let me know. I've been playing for about a week and trying to find more people who play it to do some games with. I have a few lvl 50 characters but my main is a hunter with 50 all profs. Looking to do some farming, etc and power lvling with some people.
