hey peoplez, i have recently seen some maps like forgers cell where in forge, you cant pick up objects and such, can someone please tell how to make it so you cant pick up an object in forge? Thanks for everyone's help Btw: This is to help with a new map i am coming up with which will be the first map i post on forgehub.
yo uhh one thing it isnt all ways good for the object to be where you cant pick it up because when you are merging and the object that is gone and disappeared, and you end up ending the game the object will either appear or it wont when the game is reset.
before you start forge when your still in the waiting lobby,press x and it will allow you to change the traits of the forgers to your preference.
He's asking how to make an object impossible to be picked up in Forge, not how to make it impossible to go into forge.
im not 100% sure because i havent did this in a while 1.if you have an object placed down, set in at place at start-no and respawn rate 180 2.start new round and put another object merged with it 3.save changes/end game and i believe the first block shouldnt be able to be picked up until the run time min is at max and you start a new round
simplest way, just set the object to not spawn at start and exit forge, then go back in and there you go.
The reason why you can't pick up the objects in Forger's Cell is because there are areas where you are out of the map, and when you're out of the map you cannot pick up objects placed inside the map itself. It's vice versa with objects placed outside of the map while you're in the map. Even if they're merged into the map, it depends where the tear drop of the objects is and where the object was merged from. Why am I the only one who replied who actually knew that?
