Hello Friends! My name is Blurn. I actually didn't come up with this name myself. The reason I use this nickname is because one of my friends in high school got frustrated calling me by my last name over and over again. There were multipe people in my grade with the same first name, so there was a lot of confusion using first names. My friend, in his infinite wisdom, decided to shorten my last name, Blackburn, to Blurn. It was kinda catchy and therefore it stuck. That's what a lot of people call me now. My closest friends still call me by my first name, but when we are all together it's either Blackburn or Blurn. I like the nickname so it has evolved into my user names, gamer tag, and email addresses. Being an avid Futurama fan, I would love to say the nickname comes from Blernsball. Unfortunately, I found out they don't have the same spelling. I joined Forge Hub partly because I heard about it from a very close friend (who is a regular user), and mostly because I used to be a part of another Halo forum back in the Halo: Combat Evolved days and missed the feeling of community and creativity that a forum like this offers. I chose Forge Hub because I want to get back into a community like this. When I was at the other forum, I was big time into modding the maps, models, and textures of the PC version of Halo 1 in a creative way. (I guess the reason I would call it modding is because there wasn't a Forge then...) Trust me, I would never do it in a malicious way! (Although, there was this one time I was messing around and made the sniper rifle shoot Scorpion rounds. That was crazy!) My favorite thing to do in that community was to make new textures for the vehicles. One time, I made a skin for the Warthog that made it seem like a huge advertisement for the X-Box. Apparently, the people in the forum thought it was ironic and loved it. Another thing I love to do is help people. I like to write tutorials. The reason I left the old forum is because, I guess, once the popularity of Halo: CE decreased, the forums popularity decreased and I eventually just stopped participating. I'm not big into Forge, but I love seeing the creativity that people like you guys put into it. I love the custom game types, and just exploring peoples maps. I'm good for feedback if anyone is interested! I'm hoping to get more active with Forge. I still need to nail the basics of it before I feel like I could put a 100% effort into it. I'm currently in college, so my hobbies are limited. I love computers; building them, trouble shooting, hacking, fixing, modding, networking, programming, etc... Computers are my passion, and it's part of my major in college. In my free time I love to play soccer. I watch a lot of professional soccer too. My team is Inter Milan (anyone else?). I also like to play X-Box 360 a lot on the side (MW2, FIFA 10, L4D, Halo, Orange Box). But with the way my time is split with a job and college I find it hard to make the time for these hobbies. I work at a TV station. I specialize in IT and also as a master control engineer. I am an avid Half Life fan too. I've played it since Half Life 1 came out. (Back in the Black Mesa days...) I am currently waiting on Episode Three to come out. It seems like it's been forever, but I guess Valve has their hands full with L4D2 and TF2. I'm 19 years old and live in Northern Atlanta, GA in the USA. I'm really looking forward to meeting you guys and working with you in different threads! (Sorry, I also like to write.)

Whoa, big writeup. Great job on that, man. Seems like a lot of us (myself included, though I wasn't on any particular forum) played Halo 1. Great game, lots of fun. I barely remember any of it to be honest Hope to see you around! I know a good community member when I see them, and thaaaaaat...*points at TV screen* ^--name the reference!
The Dark Knight. Silly fools muahahahahaha! H1 was what got me into competitive shooters. H2 only amplified that It's great that you actually out some time into your post, off the bat I can tell that you'll get along with the community very well. Lot's and lot's of quotes... That actually seems like it would be a fun game type. If only you could mix a hack like that with a custom map made in Forge. It would be intense. You wanna see a magic trick? Haha! I will definitely hit that up. Haha, epic. I've always gotten the way to spell that confused! Rusty Eagle did. Anyway, thanks for all the replies guys.
