I'm only a lvl 22 Siren on first playthrough... I'll put specifics up later but I have a sniper that does 320 sumthin damage, a revolver that does like 140 sumthin, a shotgun that does like 43x9, and a rocket launcher that does upwards of 300. If anyone wants to play some co-op some time, I'd love company!
Hellfire Sniper 680 Damage 95.6 Accuracy 1.5 Fire rate x4 elemental damage 2.0 weapon zoom It's pretty sweet. I also have a chimera revolver which fires a different elemental effect every time it's fired.
There is no such legit thing called a Hellfire Sniper. There is a Volcano that is pretty much the Hellfire in sniper form. If you mistaken your Hellfire for a sniper, then those stats are alright (though that fire rate blows) and if you meant the Volcano then I'm about 95% sure it's modded anyways. The highest Volcano fire rate I've seen is 1.1 and even that Volcano is questionable modded (IMO it is because when you shoot the chamber loads the next bullet oddly). So yeah, if it's actually a sniper with the word Hellfire in it, it's modded... and if it's a Volcano with that kind of fire rate and damage, then it's modded. (Unless there's only a 3 clip size, then I might actually think other wise) As for your Chimera, yeah, all Chimera's do (it's what the red text means). I would like to see the stats for it. Who knows, I might even be able to tell you if you're using a modded gun or not.
i just wanted to say that this has more views than any other thread in gaming discussion. by a lot. like 50,000 views almost. that makes me want borderlands even more, especially with all the stuff you can do in this game.
I use a SMG. I promise you if you pick up an SMG with Double Anarchy in the name you will not be disappointed. Damage: 64 X4 Accuracy: 23.6 Fire Rate: 9.3 This one also has a scope. Sure... it doesn't sound amazing, but I'm a Hunter. My Critital Hit is max which means I usually get critical hits ALL the time. Not only that but I've also got my accuracy increase for all weapons on max and I've got a high proficiency with SMG. Anyways yeah, it's pretty damaging. Btw, I'm only level... 32 or so.
the bone shredder on the second playthrough is pretty beast, not sure about the damage and other specs, bt i remember it shoots 2 shots at once, and has a 60 round mag. its basically what i use instead of a shotgun for close range fights, because of its obvious rapage. *also, a little OffTopic, but; i found two FB7 caustic snipers, one by S&S, and one by hyperion, in the same weapon chest. i thought it was pretty wierd.
Each "double" SMG fire's two shots at once. The Double Anarchy shoots two bullets at once but each bullet shoots out two bullets in it's own; so you're basically fire four bullets for each single press of the trigger. Also, it'd be better to say any Anarchy you pick up would be nice. They have Desert and Steel ones as well. Not too sure on others though. So far though, Double, Desert, and Steel are the three type I've seen.
I had a rocket launcher that does 2012 damage, without multipliers or any of that shiz. The rockets travelled in slo-mo though, so it was pretty useless. I've seen a couple of Eridian rocket launchers, all infinite ammo. One did 400ish, one 800ish, one 1200ish. My SMG does 168 Damage, don't know the other stats. My combat rifle does about 180 damage, but it's a 5-shot burst. Love it. Proficiency 24. My Revolver does just under 400. I don't use shotguns, but I've seen two good ones. One was the elephant gun in playthrough two, and did just shy of 800 damage. The other was a triple shot burst that did just over 600. By the way, none of these have multipliers or any of that.
If anyone knows if the Blast Hammer shotgun is gotten from a boss, please let me know. I got one midway through playing with a friend and he didnt tell me when or where he got it. If its a boss weapon, im looking to get a more powerful version on my second or third playthrough cause i loved it. Please let me know via my page, since i dont check this often.
I have lvl. 50 soldier with a automatic sniper with 4x fire and a base damage as 985x5, a smg that has a base damage of 576x3 with 4x lightning, a shotgun with a base damage of 629x15 with a 4x explosions and a rocket that fires a slow rocket that fires a TON of other rockets at 1687 damage ...and none of these are modded I just got lucky i ges... if you want send me a message and i will dupe them for you.
The elephant gun is a sniper. Also, I'm pretty sure there is no +300% Burst Fire shotguns. The Butcher has a +500% Burst Fire though. You may have mistaken it for another type of gun. *goes to your page right after I post this* The only sniper that has automatic firing is DAHL's legendary... and only the skullmasher (Jakob's legendary) has a x6... and it's really hard to come by a non-volcano with x4 fire. SMG's don't have a x3. It's either x2 or x4. Shotguns only go up to x12. Also, 629 as a base damage is only likely in a rocket-shooting shotgun... I almost believe the rocket launcher... but the Redemption is the slow shooting rocket one, and the Mongol is the one that shoots out a horde of rockets. Long story short, those are modded guns. I don't care if you did find them in weapon chests. There's ways to hax the game where modded guns show up in weapon chests.
It was from some sort of boss, it says +10000% fire rate, but it usually only has two shots in the clip. I have magazine size skill upgrades, which made it a triple shot gun for my character.
That's Sledge's Shotgun. It's pretty nice in a Soldiers hand and in a Sirens hand if she has Phoenix maxed out (and the class mod you have gives +4 Phoenix).
I have found 7 combustion Hellfires today, and i can't work out which one i like most If anyone wants one hit me up lol, cause i'm gona have to start dropping them soon. I found Liquid Orion (Rarest Sniper?) but it is only 477 base damage and x3 lightning. Also found my third Volcano, this one is Fearsome Volcano, 647 base, 1x zoom and 0.8 fire rate Gamertag is Kondense
I'm going to assume you haven't beat your 2nd playthrough Matty. But I could be wrong. If so... while playing online be careful of modded guns that would seem like legit ones. >.> I'm not saying any of the ones you listed are modded. But you know, just giving you a heads up. That's not that bad of a Volcano either. Does it have a Very high Elemental Effect chance? If so, I might want to get my hands on it. Also, rarest snipe would be the Penetrator. It's a fully-automatic sniper by Dahl. It's got red text saying "Sniper Killer... Qu'est que c'est. It also isn't an Orange gun. They come in Green, Blue, and Purple rarity. I've got one myself.
I have only played online like twice, with Biggles. Just finished playthrough 2 though. Trying to find a good Shotgun that does shock damage, because i want to get shotgun proficiency as high as possible. And yea i got a penetrator too,
Shotgun's with shock damage (good ones anyways) are pretty hard to come by. Torgue makes a mean fire one, Vladof and S&S make good explosive ones, and Maliwan makes a nice corrosive one. Sadly, no gun company has a legendary that specs in shock damage. Your best bet would be a maliwan one with x4 and a very high elemental effect chance. Though, like I said, it'll be hard to come by. (Heck I don't even have one)
Uhh I wouldn't say its the best weapon i've found, but I used it all through Playthrough 1 and to kill the final boss. EQ Equalizer (Or something like that) Damage- 60x7 Has a scope and my proficiency was at 20 or higher, and i was a hunter, so i reloaded and shot extremely fast.
Idk about that Matty, only cause my highest proficiency with a weapon is a 41 with my SMG, but that'd be cool if it does. Anyway, yesterday I did some good New Haven farming, and got a Liquid Orion with 590 damage, something like a 79 or so accuracy and a 1.9 RoF. I love it so far.
