I attempted a beginner tutorial and made the Scorpion signature, yet the flames totally killed it. So I re attempted the same tutorial with a different render, it's still Scorpion, for what reason I don't know why I stuck with him. I personally think this turned out a hell of a lot better than my first attempt at this. With C4D (Note first attempt experimenting with this by myself)
The second one is better but the text is hideous on it, it makes my face go A different font style and maybe the text to be about 70% trans would make it better.
Text isn't the easiest thing to do in the world. If some one actually told me how to improve the text, instead of telling me how bad it looks I would highly appreciate it.
Try finding a font that goes with the syle of the sig. And try to have a smaller render.. You should try using stocks to work on blending and depth. you could add me on msn and I could help you a bit of fh.
It is when you get into high-end signatures. And quit whining. Man, if you know your text is bad, then find some way to fix it. Not everyone here can spoon feed information to you. They can only point out what they don't like, to help you realize what you need to fix. Otherwise it's not you that's making the signature, it's really the people who TELL you how to make a signature.
Well, I have tons of renders but mostly all of them are like vertical renders and this one was one of the ones that was horizontal. I have lots of stocks but the first sig I did turned out horrible from what I got from feedback, I need to do a lot more tutorials. And Frag Man, I realllllyy loooooovee your post, it sounded as if you didn't give a **** and you probably don't, because that wasn't much help at all. If someone has no **** what to do when it comes to something, giving them a little info on how to get started, is better than telling them to figure it out yourself. I figured it out myself. Look at it. It looks like ****.
Look! You learned something. You learned you chose the wrong text, because it obviously doesn't go well. You even said it looked like ****. So keep trying, and you'll get better.
Way to state the obvious!! Agamer, just work on the depth and blending. It looks like a splapped render on a background try working with blurring and sharpening and such.
Not too badly. Just comes with practice. Some of the effects in the background look sharpened. Also, blur the edge of the render along with the background, it helps with depth and blending a lot. You could have smudged to help with the blending if you wanted to.
