    style: casual?
shirt: band tee, with a hendrix zip-up hoodie over top
pants: semi faded relaxed fit jeans. its too cold for skinny jeans, and all my belts are too big.
shoes: whatever, as of now, super insulated rubber boots, or just skate shoes.

    style: Uncategorized
shirt: Plain tight-fit, tight or loose collar t-shirts (Allsaints, Dsquared, D&G). Colourful or Faded colour Polo T-shirts (D&G, Vivienne Westwood). Thin, tight-fit sweater/jumper (John Smedley, Ralph Lauren). Various cardigans, jackets and hoodies (Adidas Originals, Allsaints, Unicef, Nike Windrunner)
pants: Low rise and faded, baggy or tight fit jeans. Colours in black, grey and light blue.
hat: Single grey wool hat with beak. Never really worn hats.
shoes: Various plimsoll shoes. Nike Air Force Ones and various Air Max 95's and earlier, and Adidas Stan Smiths.
accessories: Woven Leather belt, studded Allsaints 'Jesus Loves You' belt. Sometimes a scarf in winter.

I don't have a style. I wear what i like, and try to find clothes that differ from the people i know, so that they feel it's 'ok'. However i do try and dress maturely, i'm not a ****ing retard who wears odd bright green shoes or anything.

To be honest, I don't understand how you are an "indie kid" and a metal head. The two contradict each other completely.

I've posted her a couple times, so I would post, but you've already heard it mkay.

No I would say you're a ****ing scene **** that has no idea what he is wearing. And how do I not have a life? Just because I know things and you're a dumb ****, you think that gives you grounds to insult me?

...why do you have to insult him back? You could've proven your point without insulting him.

I agree with Hotpokkaminny here. You sound like you are just following trends to be 'trendy'. You don't know what your wearing or whether you like it at all, you just think it's radical or rebellious, so you put it on. Those supposed scarfs have only one purpose; to mask identity during liqueor store robberies.

Or the banditos shouting "we don't need no stinking badges!"

Honestly though, Indie culture is probably the most complex social culture that has ever existed, now to the point where it does not even represent what it initially stood for. I don't see how people can act as if they represent it so passionately, when usually they know little about where it came from, as well as knowing it in a variation of aspects instead of in specific details.

bro you are thinking of bandanas. You make a valid point, indie has changed its meaning a lot to the point where it is considered a genre when all it is is independent music

i wear metal band shirts, indie band shirts, and there are technically "indie" metal bands anyway. like hotpokkaminny said some people think of the term to just mean independent, which there are many independent metal bands.

but to clear things up, i am NOT an indie kid. Since this thread is about style of dress, and i saw a couple posts labeled indie kid, or skater, who dressed pretty much exactly like me, i figured id add those to the list.

and here, i found a better pic, and apparently theyre called neckerchiefs :p

i didnt mean to be that offending, i just wanted to say that i dont care what theyre called, and from what ive gathered from several other members here, on fh you cant make a point without insulting someone, as you helped me prove.
