Does anyone else think this game is extremely unbalanced? It was a blast in the first week or so because everyone had the average kit, and then... the bullshit evolved. As soon as people started to get to know the maps, the camping began (and there is an incredible amount of camping going on in this game) and everything started to go downhill. I mean the primary weapons all have there values, but when there are secondary weapons that consist of shotguns and machine pistols that are more accurate then snipers, theres no point in using the primary weapons. People are now starting a game and straight away switch to their secondary weapons because they seem to be more effective than the actual primary weapons themselves. They should have stuck with the shotgun being a primary weapon. Also, akimbo rafficas are extremely unrealistically accurate. I have been killed across map the countless number of times by those sons a' bitches. The game is just no where near as competitive or as fun as COD4. Anyway, there's more that I'd like to ***** about, but for now, let the hating commence ^^.

The only reason people camp is because you let them. If people are camping then toss agrenade or use a noob tube with danger close. Pretty soon they'll get spawn trapped and then you can set-up as a team and mow them down. Camping really isn't that hard to combat, most of the time people are caught off guard because they don't suspect certain areas. It's not the game, it's the players. You've got to realize the mentality of players today. People used to run around all willy nilly with their bows and arrows. Then they formed battle formations and charged straight at each other. Then guns and cannons came into the mix. Charing at your enemy is irrelevent. The only really tactic is ambushing, known as camping. If you know they're there then don't go around the corner. If you suspect someone is there pop a smoke or throw a flashbang. The hit marker will tell you where they are and if it isn't there then you know to check the other side first before running to cover. EDIT: Dolphin Diving is the best tactic to use against campers.

ACOG+M21=headshot! I keep getting headshots with the ACOG attached. It's like, a hack or something. The ACOG always zooms into the head and I just pull on the trigger, and I get a headshot.

Not always as good as just lying down, but sometimes the jump can throw the oppositions aim off, and as they drag upwards, your already about to lie down, putting yourself as far as possible from the enemies crosshairs and also providing you with a huge accuracy advantage.
It's actually called Drop shotting in MW2, as it was in WaW and CoD4. Also, PS3 update was just released fixing the 10th prestige glitch, balancing the Akimbo 1887s, and fixing the private match glitch (Confetti!), we should be seeing this very soon on 360.
There was an update for MW2, it automatically downloaded earlier today when I first played. Don't know if it's the patch, because after it was downloaded I had a game of 18 player TDM, on Rust.
Drop shotting is part of dolphin diving. Dolphin diving is more effective when coming around corners, drop shotting is more effective when coming at someone straight on. Nope. They still haven't released any details. They've only said that the 1887s are balanced which tells me they think most of their community are a bunch of whiners.
I never got an update... You guys sure there was one? Moving on, since I just got a brand new HDTV, I find it weird how much it's improved my game. Like I'm now noticing the tiniest details that allow me to shoot people that thought they were hidden. Also easier to spot Ghillies. And on the 1887's, they should just make them useless like with the MP44 in CoD4. It's just a gag weapon as far as I'm concerned.
The only shotgun i like is the one you can ADS on. That starting pump shotgun. I have it secondary in my sniper class, it's gotten me out of quite a few sticky situations and the reward for doing cool **** with it feels sooo much better. I had akimbo rangers before i prestiged, but i felt like an asshole with 'em.
The SPAS? I began using it, I usually used the AA-12 or rangers... But this gun is 10x more satisfying to kill with.
