Well, I haven't really done any sketch's in a really long time, basically January of last year, and I'm considering starting up again, just for something to do. But until then, I'm just going to show the general FH community another side of myself. A miniscule look into my sketch gallery: Originally I sketched little comic strips from Garfield and Calvin and Hobbes. Fifth or Sixth grade. Then, my freshmen year of high school, I started getting into midieval things. So naturally, I drew some dragons. Literally the first sketch that wasn't comic-esk that I was proud of. 14 years old. Kind of bland, rough, unblended edges, and empty, but at the time, I really really like this one. And I still do, it's basically the beggining of my art career, even if it now isn't related to sketching. It's all evolved from this single sketch. A comet crashing to earth. Rough edges again, but I really like the lighting I did around the comet itself. 14 years old. An unfinished drawing of a dragon. I would've really liked to have seen the result of this one, but I never got around to finishing it. Oh well. =P 14 years old again. This was the last drawing I ever did of a dragon, I really liked the way it turned out. Definetely an improvement from the older ones. 15 years old. This one I entered into an art contest my sophomore year of high school. I believe I got second place? 15 years old. So, then I quit drawing until my senior year of high school, I do not know why, but I did. Then I drew my (at the time) girlfriend to give to her for her birthday. I added a picture of her next to it for comparison. Not exactly proportioned correctly, but oh well. 18 years old. Then, I heard that Mountain Dew was hosting a competition to get unheard of artwork onto their next batch of Green Label Art bottles, and decided to get working on that. Which lead to this: (The full sized version is available here) And that's basically the last of my sketchwork. Tell me what you think.
your a great artist , i love to draw myself , i havent posted anything yet .. maybe i will one day ? ?? , i love your mountain dew drawing , the colors are great!.
THAT WAS YOUR GIRLFRIEND?!?! Gawd... dayum, I'd hit that. This bread wins for your past relationship alone. Oh, and nice drawings. Fav was the Mtn Dew Contest one.
*Agrees with Black* Luck mother ****er you are, nox. The mtn dew thing before the color and label looks epic, good job on all of these.
