Holos do not reduce recoil, however they increase zoom slightly (more noticeable when used in 3rd Person). It also has a slightly less significant sway while turning (the reticle itself). The frame is also bulkier than the red dot, which can obscure some things. The reticle is also more ideal for long range, due to the translucency of it.
Sometimes I get blue glare in the holo scope and it pisses me off. I have no idea why it happens, some games more than others. I would use the ACOG scope on my guns, but they seem to take way to long to look through, kickback is really noticeable(either from the scope or just more noticeable.) I guess I'll stick with the holo scope. Anyone else playing MW2 and get thrown into a different playlist than the one you selected?
I waas trying to join you a couple times and I got thrown into one of those custom games with you. It was ridiculous and not that fun. I don't understand why people want to screw with the matchmaking system so much. I know I wouldn't and it isn't too fun for others. The whole concept of boosting is stupid. It only shows how idiotic and selfish a lot of gamers are. They are only shortening the lifespan of the game and cheating thereselves out of a good pat on the back. It's the instant gratification hootenany that drivs these immature livetards to do it. They buy a game only to cut it's lifespan short, how idiotic. It only diminishes the value of the game and the reward that comes with each challenge. I love it when I work hard on a challenge and finally get it, it's a relief and a job done well as well. So, the next time any one of you little shits decides to ruin my game don't, you're just going to fuel a game industry to provide with more and more and more, when everyone can do with a little less. I currently own four games. Four. I play them till death and even then I play them some more. That is all.
i hate them. domination on rust sucks. badly.and its not fun for unlimited time either, almost everybody quits, but the MM scoops more players in.
Hopefully you guys realize that nobody is boosting. After the update to patch up glitches a couple of days ago, their was some sort of glitch in the coding or servers which released the new glitch. It places you in either 16 person free for all, team death match, or a game where you play to you get a nuke. None of this is boosting, this is merely Infinity Ward's fault for letting this happen. If you want to still say that their boosting, most of the time it happens at a random occurrence, in almost any play list. Most of the time people aren't attempting to play the glitched play lists, usually it just happens. I lold at this. It's not domination and if you actually ran around trying to capture the territories, than that's f'ing hilarious. You play till some one gets a nuke in this glitched matched. Overall, I don't necessarily see why everyone hates it. It's better than playing most of the games in multiplayer and if for some reason you don't like it, just quit out. I however personally love it.
I'm pretty sure the glitch existed in CoD4 and WaW, but players weren't brought in from Matchmaking, only by joining the private game directly.
I would get the blue glare on my FAMAS. I couldn't understand why either. My thought was something with either the lighting and the type of material the holo sight is made of made a blue tint or my blue tiger camo made a blue tint.
I get this on my FAMAS and ACR sometimes, depending on location, and I use Red Tiger and Digital, respectively. My guess is that it's just a little detail added for extra realism, while also hindering the holo a tiny bit.
so i ended up in a modded game earlier tonight. I matchmade my way to what seemed to be an average game on afghan. I go to run and all my guys noob tube toward the enemy spawn and im thinking "what a bunch of douches" then i see "FIRST BLOOD" so i said to myself "hm, lucky..". Then a wave of noob tubes is coming back and kills me. I ran around getting tubed for a bit. I then realized, everybody had unlimited equipment and ammo and it was a full on noob tube party. constant *THMP THMP THMP THMP* from goddamn everywhere. Then i realized i had these powers as well, so as anybody with a dwindling k/d would do i pulled out my tube and went nuts. I stayed for 1 more game, and used these mod powers against them with 12 million smoke grenades and a knife. It was awesome. I hopped out right after, as to not ruin my skills in a brainless unlimited **** battle. Normally i'd complain and report, but i didn't know who had the mods activated and i actually had a lot of fun for the time.
Holographic sites are just basicly a bunch of mirrors. What it is reflecting is just lighting. So anywhere where a light could look into the gun causes the glare. Holographic sights in real life are supposed to get rid of any parralax that a shooter could encounter. It's odd how it acts just like the red dot sight.
Spent a few games playing in a game like this today. Max lulz. Probably the most fun i've had in MW2 since release. Just wait till you get the AC-130. Howitzer fires like a machine gun. Got myself a few easy nukes.
I've yet to enter one of those parties and don't think I'll be sticking around long if I do...I hate game changers in matchmaking. Anywho, I played like **** tonight. I didn't break my 2.0 k/d by much in any of my games (I usually get a 5.0 k/d for 70% of the games in any given session) and a few rounds I obly broke even. However, most of those games I did what I haven't done in a while, ran around hunting people with my knife...so much fun, lag killed me a few times though, damn servers.
I suppose the only reason I end up in some many glitched parties is because I frequent 3rd person team tactical. It's my favorite playlist and I can't even get a game in on it. Which is why I will most likely be playing another game until they fix this stupid annoying glitch that makes me wish I had hidden blades and I could jump from rooftop to rooftop hunting Infinity Ward staff.
