You know what I noticed? People always rag on the submachine gun's range, but on this game on afgan, I killed someone with a Mini-Uzi at the top ledge(over looking the whole map) from the big bunker (the one furthest away).
the ump45 is in my opinion the best SMG. it plays most like an assault rifle, with the advantages of an SMG.
yep lol. I always get predator missiled, chopper gunner'd or AC130'd because some dumbass is following me around.
when i use my classes with cold blooded on, i stay far away from my teammates. I'd either be sniping by myself or sneaking around enemy lines. I dun want red squares giving me away. My basic class has stopping power as my red perk.
Even then, people can still see you if you have Cold-Blooded on. It doesn't make you invisible to the operatable killstreaks. Just harder to see. It's range still sucks. You have to use extremely controlled bursts just to get it perfect. I've done the same with the Vector and do it frequently, doesn't mean I'm going to be using it over an AR or Sniper at that range. How can you stand the recoil on that thing? All ARs have little recoil making that minor boost in speed useless.
On a game of CTF, I called in a predator missle on what looked like two red squares who were defending. Apparantly, all 6 teammates decided to defend that round, and on top of that crowd relatively close to one another.
True, but what are people gonna go for. A giant red square out in the open or try and find someone without a red square. Sure they will see you sometimes but its kinda rare. Umps do not have much recoil, or at least when I used a silencer it didn't
You can see through the dot of a holo sight and it is slightly bigger, and a red dot is slightly smaller but you can't see through it.
I noticed that, I though there was a bigger difference. Somehow I play better with a holo, and only that difference wouldn't noticably help me I don't think.
I'm pretty sure thats it. Maybe the holo increases range a tiny bit more. And the holo is better I think for the fully automatic guns because you can see your target while you shoot but for the semi automatic and 3 shot burst, they usually die in a hit or two so I think a red dot suits those better since they dot is smaller. IDK maybe i'm nuts.
Well I use an acr, and the transfer from red dot to holo made a big difference for me. I guess little changes can mean a lot.
Hey, what does everyone think about thermal on assault rifles? Personally I like it depending on how accurate the gun is. Like the M4 is pretty good with it, but a gun like the F2000 sucks.
I'm not a fan of thermal period, too many people use cold blooded. And it's all preference, I don't have thermal on anything personnaly. But if I did, I would put it on a famas. Or FAL.
Is that true? If so that's probably why it helps so much all the time, especially on a weapon with a lot of kick. I've always wondered why my SCAR-H had significantly less kick when I used it. =P
