Is it me or is the blue spartan Linda/Kelly (not sure) and does the person that she refers to "Commander" look like Sergeant Forge from Halo Wars.

What made me think that the "Commander" is Forge because he said "Spartans don't die, they just go missing." Which seems like it connects with Forge's death when detonating the bomb on the strange planet. BTW: Yes, I know Forge is not a Spartan in Halo Wars, but he could have gotten off and became one in the 10 years or so.

Im pretty sure that Bungie has had the model of that Spartan far before Ghost's image was revealed in late September. Especially because of the Reach ad with the squad silhouette.

That was sexy. This had significant ties to halo wars. As you've said the Sergeant Forge theory works it self out perfectly. However, even more interesting to me was the fact that they included hawks in the premire. Obviously most people know them to be anders super vehicle. If their showing us this what else can we expect to see. Drivable wolverines.

Gais, spartan II's were picked at the age of 6 through genetics by Dr. Halsey, and have been together on missions for decades before reach. They don't 'sign up'. Fugg it.

 

Im not sure if those vehicles were hawks because hawks look like this:




The ones in the trailer looked different. They had helicopter propellers and a place with passenger seats. They would be sick for gameplay though. Imagine the ultimate Hornet that can hold 4 players in the back and 1 driving/gunning. I hope that players can play 1st person in the passenger seats much like Halo: CE.

 

I would imagine that team games would have more people if this was true.

Remember, Vehicles can change their look and still be called the same.
ex. Mustang.

Well, we saw a battle rifle that was huge, and a possiblility of a combat knife. but the person sitting in the hornet thingy towards the beginning was loading individual rounds into something. It might have been a bag, Battle rifle, or possibly some other weapon. Any ideas if it was another weapon?

 

OH GOD NO! He must have a tad of BS in his leak. Thats...thats... just unHalo-ly.

 

I still have yet to understand how this is a bad thing.

Everyone loved the new equipment, was that in halo ce or halo 2? No.
Everyone loved the skulls and firefight in halo ODST, was that in any previous halo title? Nope.

Maybe we should just assume Bungie knows what they're doing by now.

 

I love the trailer, but this guy's comment on B.Net made me laugh (mainly the second part):

"It didn't show us what the game was like, it didn't show us weapons, it didn't show us multiplayer footage or maps.

All it was, was some americans with annoying accents talking to eachother while robots in goofy armour got into some stupid looking helicopters and flew off into the sunset."
