Trust me, there are some pretty stupid people on XBL and everyone is moving fast, clearing corners, and looking most primarily for the shape of a human or movement. If you do not move, and are prone, they WILL mistake you for a dead body unless they stare at you for a while or you move. Its a fast paced game and people DO often miss things.
Call of Duty=/=fast paced shooter. I could show you fast paced shooters but that'll take time. CoD is only kinda' fast. In my experience, they never miss anything. Auto-Aim is incredibly hard to miss. And there is always a clear difference between a dead body and a live one. Mostly the fact that they're holding a gun. First, there was no rant. Second, the point of your post? Third, deal with it. People have moods and not everyone is incredibly good-hearted at all times. Some people can be meaner then others and I'm not the meanest by any degree.
But the thing is, people do mistake a prone body w/ Cold Blood Pro for a dead body/teammate. It just happened to me today, I was playing S&D on highrise. I was lying prone guarding the plant point, when a person on the other team ran practically over me, and didn't even see me, and I killed him.
Well, let me tell you, theoretically it may not seem sound, but i am often not noticed when i move into parts of the map that are not commonly traversed and snipe/camp. Ive had people literally walk over me many times. It doesnt matter what you think will happen, only what does. Also, you become pretty much impossible to find in bushes or tall grass. yeah the only time is doesnt work is in domination or HQ. The announcer gives cues that you are in that area so they are much more likely to shoot you even if you do look like a dead body.
Telrad, another post like that and you get a permanent infraction. You're attempting to prove that everyone on XBL has common sense, yet you, an XBL player show none and decide to post flaming idiocy in here, voided your argument there. Respond to this, you get an infraction. Flame, even a little, you get an infraction. Everyone else, move on. As for the game, I'm fairly conservative in my tactics for the most part, definitely depending on the map so when I played on my friend's account last night and went knives only on favela, I had me a blast. I jumped off a roof and mid fall I threw a knife into the middle of an enemy's path, so awesome. Then another I jumped off a roof into the middle of a firefight to knife a guy as I landed on him, the guy that killed me's killcam was ****ing epic looking.
Okay, the past 4 matches of Ground War I have played, they've been hacked private/live lobbies, and I'm not the only one. 3 of them have been on Rust so far, facing infinite amounts of air support and trashing my K/D ratio. I also had a search and destroy despite it saying Team Deathmatch, on Scrapyard. Is this happening to anyone else? Or am I just getting really unlucky?
wow. I know you can drag matchmaking parties into custom games if you're host, but I've never encountered that.
Yep, and I'm still getting them. I'm on rust again, and there are 2 harriers, a pavelow, and an apache all in the sky at the moment... And now there is a guy who is immune to bullets.
Does anyone else notice how when someone gets a chopper gunner or an AC130 and kills half or the entire team, they continue to all spawn in a cluster right where they died so the gunner or AC130 kills the entire team about 3 to 4 times?
airsupport does rape in hat map though. coldblooded is the only way to survive. definitely the least realistic battlefield.
I stopped at 261 kills, and 234 deaths.... I got Marksman 4 with my AUG HBAR in a single game.... I still have no idea what was going on, because those guys who I couldn't kill acted as if they couldn't see me at all. In the end, just wierd.
to bad cold blooded doesn't let everyone around you not have red squares around them. I think its more frustrating being accidentaly killed because a teammate was next to you then just gettting killed constantly because you can be seen.
