I love the irony in this Nor. We had a Javeling glitching fest on Saturday and you're posting this bread. But for real, I'm glad they're taking action. Yet, they really just need to remove it as a whole.
I never used the glitch! The other team kept using it and I think you and Chaotic used it a few times, but I never did. I just knifed people.
The majority of glitchers won't actually be banned, Xbox have a group of people who are playing MW 2 banning people they see doing it as in the only way your going to get banned doing this is if you get literally caught in the act. So yes while they are banning people the vast majority of people will get away with they are just trying to scare people and I'd say its working as most people have stopped.
I don't see how they can ban people for glitching. It's the game's fault. Just make a patch and move on. What are they going to do next? Ban forgers who interlock? Cuz we're just exploiting that glitch to gain an unfair forge advantage... Games are for fun. You would think game creators would understand that... They need to stop taking everything so seriously. And, yes, I understand it violates the xbox terms of use policy. I also understand it's a scare tactic. But still. Bullshit.
Patch. Move on. Done. Like Roche said, they can't really ban unless they are seen done it the act. I really think doing this glitch is a trick for assholes. As said, Patch. PAAAATCH OH GOD PLEASE.
my friend who javelin glitches said that bannings a lie to try and get people to stop till they patch it. cant will till he actually does get banned
will they only ban you if they play with you and you use it? or will they ban you if they have other proof (ex:youtube video)
I don't see what the big deal is. I mean it is a lame way to get kills but for now it is just a loop hole in the game-It's part of the fun. It just gets annoying sometimes when a 12 year old finds out about this then exploits it and does it for everything. Those kids deserve to be banned in my opinion.
I really didn't mind the glitch. When I saw it, my way of describing it was, "It's a feature!" And to anyone about to say "That's because you do the glitch!" I don't. I don't even have the Javelin yet. Ha! Serves you right! Yeah. That's right. Cry. I just told you so badly. Ha. Take that.
It makes the game so much worse when you can't even defend a point because as soon as you kill a player you get blown up and respawn on the other side of the map. Really, do you want to deal with these kinds of glitches every time you play? If they were not taking any kind of action against the glitch, I would walk into Gamestop and return it right away.
I thought the patch is coming up already, I saw it on that newsbar thing in Attack of The Show, and they were just banning people, until IW launches the patch.
You tried it with an RPG, when falling to your death? - Just of the verge on Afghan doing the glitch with the RPG (in a private match), then look at the spot where you died. I imagine that it's be incredibly helpful for machinima purposes..
