Ol this is my first comment here since... Aaaaages. Anyways, i really like this screenshot, 10/10 for creativity. If you know how to take it, does that affect the quality of a screenshot? I dont think so. Good job on it. I think it looks good.
Anything needs posing, doesnt it? Just like this picture, definitely lacks a spartan with a sniper, right? /sarcasm It doesnt. Imagine it with a spartan or whatever on it, it would be just the average screenshot anyone takes, but with a better background... You dont even know if this isnt to close to the pic to have someone standing in there. EDIT: and your sig is too big, you might want to change that.
I like how detailed the picture is, it doesn't even look like it was taken on a video game, but the picture itself is a little strange.
Pretty much what Spartan7371 has been saying. For one, having someone there would just ruin the whole concept of the photo. And two, it's impossible to have someone standing there.
I never said that it needed someone to pose, I said that the picture looks strange because it is a blob on the screen. There is a difference...
The sharp graininess of it looks great. It almost looks like an actual photo. The sickly green with what looks like a bloodstain makes it look incredibly eerie. The twigs or branches or veins or whatever they are look great. I really don't know what to say about the picture, except it looks great. Though I'm surprised some people can't like a picture without a Spartan and explosions in the background.
I am curious about what effects you used, if any at all. Finding these abstract images in halo is hard to do, so you get thumbs up from me in that regard.
This place needs more people as humble as you, Paper. You've always been one of my favorites and I love your artistic outlook. A rating for this screenshot would mean nothing to you. I can only stand back and appreciate your work.
It's a spot on the ceiling in the Black Room on Rat's Nest. I used a Flare. Thanks and oh might I add, your newest batch, A Fragment of Time - Part 3, is great. Speaking of your A Fragment of Time series, the first one has one of my favorites screenshots that I've seen come from Halo 3 and that is "Victorian candlelight." Such a stunning photo.
It's been ages Paper... how are you? Well, honestly all I can do is copy Blue's reaction. This isn't a typical Halo 3 screenshot, as is most of your shots. I really love the way the colors work together.
I've been okay. Mainly been lurking rather than posting around here and the Bungie Groups. And thanks Theorem, I appreciate your comment.
