my newer version of fortress with interlocking , now alot better. This is what i have so far: Weapons: Battle rifle x 3 Magnum x1 Energy Sword x1 Equipment Frag Gernade x2 plasma gernade x4 (the map size haze been reduced and the max players is now 6 and min is 2) Pictures -overlooking -first floor -action photos  yeah so tell me any suggestions and ill get right to it
First suggestion: Get better pictures. I can hardly tell what the map is. Most people use photobucket, but I usually use this site for uploading photos. TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting I'll edit this post when you fix the pics.
Now I can rate it. Just to let you know, if you have weak heart, you may not want to read this review. This map is terrible sop far. First off, It could never play well at this point. It's only 1 floor, it's lazily built, and what's with the random fusion coils? Also, if it's supposed to be an arena-like place, or a foretress, why aren't are the walls higher? You could easily grenade jump out of the area. But it looks like you already put a wire spool there for people to use to escape the map. Sorry, but it's the truth.
Ouch that hurt me. But it is only a preview. Obviously he will incorporate more levels to the mape hopefully. I would suggest some tunnels through the map on the multiple levels and some bridges crossing at points across the map. That will give it some good and unique aesthetics hopefully. Also, do you know how to ghost merge because that will save time and make it look remarkably better.
dude the map isn't finished you can't comment on things like wall height, also it isn't lazily built he just doesn't have a great knowledge of forging techniques so he hasn't done much interlocking. Think BEFORE you post. Anyway on to the map, all i can really say is follow the comments made on the V1, also you might want to tidy it up because it is still quite messy, I can show you a few methods to make this easier on xbl, my gt is indigobeef 9i won't be on untill monday though so i can help you then). When it comes to basic interlocking you're better not to use ghost merging, it's untidy and might have adverse effects on gameplay if you use it on the floor.
Dang, I really regret what I've said. I wasn't in a good mood at the time, I shouldve just stayed away from the computer. Sorry. Anyways, I have to disagree with indigobeef about the ghost merging. If done properly, it's far more effective than standard merging. Not only does it save time, but it can be done with OLN objects, and because it can geomerge, it helps prevent pesky grenade traps. You're new here, so you probably have idea what I'm talking about, but if you go to forge discussion and look for the topic New Forge Glitch, ghost merging should be explained pretty well.
Any experienced forger will tell you that while ghost merging is fast it has a tendancy to leave bumps in the map that, if they are on the floor, can badly effect gameplay, ghost merging imo should only be used for aesthetics and really tricky geomerges. Also in this maps case all the interlocking needing to be done will be very basic so there's no need to ghost merge because it will actually take longer than interlocking if the interlocking is done correctly.
