Heres a the Introduction video of the Marble Hornets Mystery. But be warned: the events unfolding around the crashed Marble Hornets is not for the meek or the lighthearted. This is the realm of terror and fear, of paranoia and horror. Ye have been warned. Now, welcome to the mystery. I hope you enjoy the story chronicled below. YouTube- Introduction I personally don't believe it because I'm hard to convince, but I still found the video series very entertaining. If you watch all 28 videos in order you will recieve quite the chill towards the end. Heres a link for the playlist: YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.
Wow, I've only watched the first 5 entries and I'm a little freaked out I must say. I really get scared by these kind of things, almost like Paranormal Activity-esc. Ahhh I'm gonna keep watching them though because I'm really intrigued...
Skip to 19. 19 is full of the kind of mistakes you'd see in a fake horror event video. If you notice, the camera skips alot throughout the videos. This wouldn't happen unless someone edited it (more likely he faked). Same with the fake visual effects in the 19th entry. If he didn't remember getting up, he would've skipped to the part he "got up" and checked whether he got up or not. He also owns a camera working similarly to the one which the entries were made with (according to entry 19), this would mean they had extremely similar cameras (or the same cameras, which would make it more likely he filmed it himself). The audio cuts out alot. Because he has no proper audio to fill the entries with that would make them seem more real, so he blanks them. According to the introduction, that would've meant 3 years before he next cleared out a specific one of his cupboards, did he really have a "never-use" cupboard? If it was real, surely rather then wanting to burn the videos he would've taken them to the proper authorities (if he was that worried someone was following him). "Totheark" joined 2 days after the posting of the videos (new idea for the false horror event?). At video 10, he starts posting "fake" (in actuality, FAKE fake videos) video responses, in video 19 after about 5 "interruptions" things are starting to be blamed on "Totheark". "Totheark", "the actual entries" and "MarbleHornets"s camera qualities are extremely similar, more likely it's the same camera.
Hahaha, wow everything seemed somewhat real until this. it looked like some guy in a haloween costume was just prancing around the room. Damn, I wish the was a true story. It's like Blairwitch Project all over again...
Obviously its not real... Its a good form of entertainment. Pointing out the flaws is not very hard. Where the cameras cut out are supposed to be parts where something sudden and creepy happens; not bad film making.
