Play with Asset v2" Map Canvas: Sandbox Map Size: Medium Player Count: 6-12 Supported Gametypes: Asset V2 __________________________________________________ Description: Profanity! is a map I created slightly prior to my knowledge of Asset. I had begun working on it, but only about halfway through building the main base did I think about its potential use in Asset. The name Profanity! holds a kind of similarity with my previous competitive map, Insanity! v2. Please do not ask the reason, for I do not know. In actual gameplay, much of the action appears to take place on the roof. This is where the hornet spawns, so it is risky, in a way. However, if the VIP is knocked down from the roof, the fighting sees a dramatic shift in location. To prevent certain, unnamed people (rifte gifle) from going and camping out in the dunes (a boring but nonetheless somewhat effective strategy), I have unblocked two of the guardians. This does not hinder gameplay at all, for you will know when you have headed out to far. Profanity! contains 3 Special Classes: The Chieftain, The Stalker, and The Jump-Pack Brute. Thanks anyways =D. -Thanks to rifte gifle's undying passion for heading into the dunes and straying away from the base, I was forced to unblock two of the Guardians. -I'm aware the Chopper seems somewhat pointless; but it spices up gameplay a little. -I may release a version that results in the hornet dropping around six minutes, instead of three. -I consider this map somewhat decent, even though it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. For instance, the roof was never supposed to be accessible. Also, there are many bumps, and the symmetry is far from perfect.
how can u set something to respawn in 6 minutes it only goes up to 3 min. every item in halo forge only has a 3 minute respawn
Asset Canvas Near the bottom, it will show you how the system works. Basically, it destroys the hornet once, then allows it to land the second time. Also, please add an actual comment about the map; I don't want this to turn into a discussion about respawn times.
Silly Arbacca, this should go in the Casual section. Anyways, you already know what I think of this map, I still kind of think that the guardians shouldn't have been blocked in the dunes though... running around there was so much fun The M.J statue wins. I've already added this to the master list for Asset(which is for some reason has all the text ridiculously spaced out...), nice one getting the 10th asset map posted up!
I shall call him disco man! I really love the ODST hold-out structure's dome shape, i'm not lying when I say that this building is one of the best i've ever seen, fantastic job on that! I might suggest adding to the Brute's arrival location behind the disco-man, it could be done better. Love that building though, you may get hate-mailed for the disco man/****-saluting guy. : )
Looks cool the statue of the man is the best but i also really like the curved look of the main structure. The unblocking of the lazers was a good idea to fix the camping problem all in all 4/5
Very cool i say.I like the lil man its really cool i'll dl it but then again i have no one to play it with.i have friends on xbl but they all play modern wafare 2 and i m never host. 5/5 good job.
Haha, wow, that's all I can say. It's unlike another other map, that's another thing I can say. But seriously this looks really great aesthetically along with MJ. I know people are only emphasizing that statue but the map looks really great overall and looks to create some solid asset gameplay. Every structure is there for a reason, so nice job and I look forward to future maps from you!
I played this map a bunch over these last couple days, and it's really good. I find a lot of Asset maps so far are very similar but this one has a different feel to it. Being a Brute is especially fun on this map - Banshee FTW.
Yay! you posted it! I was testing it with you and rifte a few days back after testing my map. I really enjoyed it and I loved that statue in the back. LOL Ok, so there are a few things I would like to point out. The map itself is a little too open, perhaps add a wraith. I thought the chopper was kind of pointless, because as soon as you came close to the base, I would either get plasma pistoled, or I would get stuck in the structures, or I would drive around aimlessly around the dunes. A wraith would do well in providing a bombardment and would add a little more to the gameplay. Everything else is just fine. This is just my opinion, and it may differ with others because when I played it, it was like 2 v 3 and it was really hard to get to virgil, and the hornet took too long to spawn. Overall nice map! Download for sure!
Haha, I believe the Banshee was indeed the best vehicular addition =) I just love those times when no one noticed it, and all of the sudden it would splatter those atop the base. You gotta hate those games no one would stay for xP I agree about the chopper, but I decided to keep it there anyway... I thought about adding a wraith, and I'll probably experiment with that sometime later. It would really encourage those on the roof to find different cover.
