Dud3, i've done that like a few times with this friend, and i have to say:
I had some of my funnest games like that. People just pass by you and they never see you. Even if you talk and they catch it on their proximity thingie. It's so fun. Surprisingly, the times i did this, the people didnt get mad in the end. In fact, they admired us. They admitted that it was awesome.

    PS: Post #300

bnasty, supergooseberry said the same thing to me, that's why I thought this thread had died, and was sort of glad, but someone brought it back.

Grif, that seems like more of a camping spot, I know the best Sandtrap spot though, PM me if you want to know it.

E93, that spot is terrible, because everyone knows aboout it, i can never get a good hiding game there. One time these guys even stood on the roof right above me and shoot their shotgun right at me. It freaked me out

Well, I'm not much of a hider. But it's nice to know where all the hiding spots are so I would know where to find people.:D

    Over 9000?!? Lol.

Some of those spots were sweet, but some of them are really obvious and not that useful.

Hiding is sometimes more fun than playing halo itself. Amazingly, when my friend and I go into TD, we almost always get the pit, and once we get the lead we just go up in the room with sniper and full grenades, and we can hold them off by sticking/sniping them for awhile.

that's cool, but that's more camping than hiding. Hiding in the pit would be more like staying in that second story room

    ok here are my spots,
on snowbound theres this spot with these two purple pillars
right at the edge of the level and if you hide behind that people usaly dont look there

also on isolation you can land in a tree from one of the purple lifts on that little indent at the top of the slide

One time my teammate quit in team doubles while we were playing on narrows... I got in the lead and hid.

The other team thought I was hiding under the map where it's really hard to get, but I wasn't.

I laughed so hard seeing them jump off trying to find me again and again, while I was perched safe, far away from where they thought I was.

I won the game 4 to -6! lol!

I distinctly remembering abusing the sudden death on 1 bomb in halo 2 before they removed it in a later update. Hiding in palm trees on zanzibar gives me memories... lol 60 minutes sudden death.

I ended up using hiding tactics as a taunting stratagy when either the flag needs to be at home to score, or the bomb/flags have infinite sudden deaths.
Containment holding the flag at the highest snow capped peak" Flag dropped, Flag Taken, Flag dropped,.........." that made my day. It was like, checkmate bitches! Now quit!

I'm not sure if itts been mentioned, but if you jump at the right angle and distance, you can stay a-float underneath Camo lift on Guardian, lol
