Im not saying put jumps ever where man. I'm just saying good mlg maps have those jumps, to power areas/ weapons.
That's not true at all. Tactical jumps add some depth, but have nothing to do with what makes a 'good' map from a 'bad' map. Not all 'good' maps have tac jumps. I'd rather have a more solid general gameplay than tactical jumps.
I agree, and i think tactical jumps in most cases suck. They make gameplay stale. They are sometimes a must, because areas might have too few options or access points, but this should only be present in really small maps, or incases of restricted design options from doing a remake (Heretic). You have plenty of space and plenty of creativity, you shouldn't need any clever jumps added, and anyone who tells you to add them is bias.
Thanks everybody for this interesting debate concerning "tactical jumps" ! ^^ First, MousseMooseROCKS you're right : I'll put a banister to go to purple middle on each side. And don't think there are no tactical jump : there are two jumps on each side to go near the flag into the bases. It seems like door in Foundry, on MLG map. Thanks again for all the feedbacks.
