i miss having enough time to have a reasonable rank. i also miss getting challenges by chatting the person i am in cage match with, and i hate 3rd person with a passion. i also hate not being so hated in hardcore search and destroy. i miss not being able to have a secondary and a rpg. and i miss being a beast, which i was in COD 4 but lack that in the new one.

MW2 sucks in my opinion. Everyone camps and the maps and stuff you unlock are way too unbalanced. Before I could just run around and kill people but now everyone just camps in their base with their shotguns and sniper rifles and camps. It pisses me off most of the time that I don't even play the game anymore. I just want eveyone to switch back to COD4. I also miss my primary/pistol/equipment combo. With the new "have overpowered sidearms as starters is really annoying. Everyone just runs around with their machine pistols which are essentially sub machine guns except in sidearm form. I MISS HAVING LAST STAND AT THE START Oh, and I miss regular team tactical. I don't want some stupid 3rd person crap.
i like mw2 a lot, i feel the game is a lot more strategic now and more skill is required. one thing i hated about COD4 was the easy kills pulled off by nade spamming/mp5/n00b tubes. i haven't seen a whole lot of that any more and it's nice. really the only thing i wish they would change is get rid of afgan. that map is simply atrocious and belongs in halo, not cod.
Afghan is a really good map, so are Terminal, Highrise and Favela. The rest are pretty bad and way too complex.
Maps are a matter of opinion. As for noob tubes I've ran into those far more than i did in cod4 and 5. I believe the reason for so much camping is because the game is so much more realistic than cod4. You actually have to strategize; and if that means camping than so be it. I'm surprised though that there isn't regular team tactical..oh well.. theres CTF!
I miss my G36C, being able to be in party chat and play whatever playlist I want, and I most certainly miss the map Crash.
It sounds like you miss being good at COD, not MW2, you are complaining that the guns are too good, even though you have the same guns. Its a new game, and that means that you need a different mindset, because you were good at MW1 doesn't mean that you'll be good at this one.
I think the maps in MW2 suck. Just personal opinion though, there is nothing wrong with them. Also, in COD 4, your team would almost always have a UAV because you got it at 3 kills no matter what. Now nobody wants to get a UAV for one of their killstreak slots so you have one a lot less often. Really the only time anybody uses a UAV is when they get it from a care package.
R700, gah I loved the R700 it may have a low capacity but I found it good for stealth. Anyways I'm glad no-one grenade spams anymore thats one of the things that ruined COD4's multiplayer for me. Mw2 is still beast but I HATE the scar its like a full auto M16 in my opinion, but I can last, anyways its nice that they put silencers for the snipers, but otherwise i love Mw2.
I never said I was bad, I usually get the highest kill/death ratio per game. It's just that those things that I pointed out annoy me.
I love Highrise, Karachi, Skidrow, and Maybe one other, but I'm really against the other maps. And I also like how the M16 got downgraded in terms of recoil, it was REALLY overpowered in COD4. But now everyone uses the scar instead... And sniping isn't as fun / easy as it is in COD4. Nothing 1-hit-kills anymore. GODDAMN PAINKILLER. Team deathmatch express. None of the noobs realize that it's there, so no-one plays it, why didn't they make this the default deathmatch? Hardcore headquarters. The fact that stopping power is physically essential.
i was thinking on how people think the maps being so huge makes them shitty, but there are reasons for it. Being a modern game, the weapons have to be a lot stronger/ high tech. so to compensate with this MW2 has maps that appeal to very long distances and small spaces alike. If you are a camper, sit in the buildings. If you are a sniper, perch on the hill. But if the maps were made smaller than things would be worse than they are right now. everytime you ran into someone it would be a 1 sec fight of who shot first at point blank. If you honestly think about playing Cod4 maps with the weapons and skill set of MW2 it wouldn't go well. So when it comes down to it, the only thing you can complain about is the playstyle of mw2.
Blowing team mates up, and being better than everyone. And not being raped on SnD by someone with a heartbeat sensor.
